The singleplayer stands out for me as one of the best in FPS war games, because it focuses on comradery, the soldier's story, and you actually get to care about the character you play as. That's something not every game does. Lately, only Mafia 2, MoH and Red Dead Redemption have done this. I salute the developers behind these games. Job well done.

The campaign has exceptional production value and Is really fun and a breath of fresh air. The multiplayer is the perfect breed between bfbc2 and call of duty but it isn't perfect. If you still can't decide between the newest call of duty or the newest battlefield then pick up this game you truly get the best of both worlds and the servers could use some growing since less than a few thousand are currently online and that's sad.

I own this game and i cant say im satisfied.. The graphics are awful compared to other fps and the animations are also not good... Generaly, the feeling i get is that the movement and all that stuff seems a bit "robotic".... but the sound was great...

im surprised they did not talk about how the single player runs on the unreal 3 engine and multiplayer runs on the frostbite engine making the two not only look different but play completely different. comparing the two, the MP looks so much better then the SP and playing it on the pc you will find if you play the MP a lot and go back to the SP its kinda hard to get used to it. still a fun game and well worth the 20$ i payed for it :D

If you pay close attention to the game and NOT try to rush through a level as fast as you can, you can see the detail they put in this game, acting, voice acting and soundtracks are done very nicely, better than CoD and Bad Companies. This is by far one of the best FPS campaign I've ever enjoyed.

They shouldve took a Crysis large battlefield approach or at least fix the AI

@Nolehcse I would have recommended Battlefield Bad Company 2 instead, or maybe the new BF3 when it comes out. Battlefield games have much larger maps, better graphics and you have more freedom to roam around levels. No invisible walls or locked doors. Any soild structure can also be destroyed in Battlefield so if a building or wall is in your way, blow it up.

I actually prefer this game to Call of Duty. The singleplayer campaign is realistic enough AND fun enough to keep playing (finished it like 3 times so far) and the multiplayer is as fun as Battlefield's but more fast paced. I like this game so much that I have never been pissed of by it, unlike what CoD does to me. In my own personal opinion, this games deserves a 9/10, just because it does seem rough around the edges some times.

@yungtae On PSN, No lags, and plenty of gamers on Combat Mission and Team Assault (Deathmatch) ALL the time. Very underrated multiplayer. Not as deep as COD or the Battlefield series, but a good mix of the two gameplay wise. Hope this helps.

I've yet to feel as emotionally attached to a storyline as much as this. Whilst I agree in a sense with the linear style cos of the storyline, the fact EA went to the effort of making the game real and in-touch with our present in a respectful manner, meant I played the game with respect - took cover properly, remained accurate, used ammo carefully, did as the squad suggested tactically. And I felt by doing that, you got an extra dimension to the game beyond its actual gameplay. Great game.

Want a good laugh? Watch any IGN review, and then watch a review for the same game by Gamespot. You'll notice how they cover about 5x as much information, and it's usually about 2x longer. Something else to note, they are far more adept at finding the good things about games and being less dismissive. Comparing the two is almost embarrassing, IGN is just inferior.
