I think the thumbs down was based on the assumption that you were accusing Gabe of stealing an old John Mayer song. If this is the case, then yeah I have to say I think you are incorrect. Chords are similar but the SONG is not the same. If anything was exactly the same then it would be a case of blatant plagiarism.
