I am a GAY ATHEIST! How can you folks belong to a church that #1 NEVER excommunicated Hitler, and #2 has been touching kids for decades. Instead of being born again, why don't you all try growing up and becoming REAL gay women and men.

I am a commited Catholic and a gay man. I met my partner and companion of 30 years at church. Be comfortable being who you are (cloverfield911) and I'm sure there will be a partner for you.
I'm just back from Holy Thursday mass, and it was the first time i really went to try and re-discover my faith. I'm also gay, and although i enjoyed the mass, i saw another guy there, and came away feeling lonely.
It's hard being gay and Catholic, but my faith is important to me. I only wish i had a companion to share my life with.
I know the feeling, no one likes being lonely. Just let things be the way they are, don't try to rush anything, surely there's someone out there waiting for you.
