love Keiths voice, was wondering if you ever heard chris gasky's voice he and "kentucky bluebird" are a tribute band and did an event marking the 20 year anniversary of Keiths death, randy hayes plays guitar for them too, so the sound is incredible!
@TheBeachside21 To you and the others who pointed out that I made a mistake--yes I did. but 32 or 34, his death was a horrific tragedy of the sort that happens all too often in the music world. Even if he were alive today he'd only be 57, and dying at 57 in today's world is still dying younger than you would hope to.
What a beautiful song and don't I know how it feels. How I'd love to record this song and post it to the love of my life who right now is trying to figure out what to do with us. Thank you Keith. We were kindred spirits in many ways. You are deeply missed.
I dont think Lori did anything to keith but love him the best she could and he loved her. Keith just struggled with the bottle as many of us have and while tragic you cant always make a conspiricy out of everything. I would rather remember keith in all his glory as a fellow kentuckian.
Although I understand that as human beings, we must understand all about the why and wherefores, but he was a MAN first, a HUMAN BEING second, AND AN ENTERTAINER, LAST.. he was a husband, a father, etc. He had a drinking problem, many people do. Nobody has to be to blame. It happens. He was an excellent writer, performer, and person, nonetheless, and his memory should not depend on what he drank, but what he left as a legacy for his children, maybe a little tarnished, but beautiful, and loving.
i wonder if it wasn't Lorrie that killed him. she's had a penchant for burning through men...don't get me wrong, i love her, but so did Keith and look what happened to him. Sammy Kershaw is still alive as far as i know, but he didn't have much luck either. pattern? perhaps...something to be said for that "too sensitive to live" thing though. some of the greats were just too good for this world. i'll always love Keith Whitley's music.
One things for certain in spite of this hurtin ill always be hopelessly yours!!!! He would be so much bigger than alot of the other singers these days if he hadnt died he actually has that tone a country singer should have!!
Keith Whitley and Lorrie Morgan are a true love story, my father succombed to the same fate he did. Although it's been 18yrs it never gets better just easier. I love you Keith Whitley my daddy listened to your I'm Over You after my mother left and that's very sentimental song to me.
im originally a metal fan, then i wen country, and back to metal, but still, i love a few drinks listening to keith and all the other oldies, i have a large collection of the the good Grand Ole Oprey heroes, and i will always cherish them. Country is a sentimental thing for me, i use it to relax after a hard days work, or just having a beer thinking about things.
What's so sad is whay they said about her when he died! She really loved him. Shame on you magizines and tabloids. She made songs that showed very clear she loved him!
Dolly Parton said about Hank Williams..'I guess he was just too sensitive to live'....I would agree with that...creative ability can charge a very high price...Keith Whitley was in that frame...I didn't know he was that young when he died...What a waste ....from England.
he aslo did a demo of brother jukebox before mark chestnut, and on the other hand at about the same time as randy travis, but both were never released
I have read all these post about Keith and his problem with alcohol, an alcoholic uses alcohol to ease the pain for whatever reason but I,m guessing Lorrie because all his songs point in her direction even this one he says he'll never be sure if she loved him, but I don't think she loved him as much as he did her. She had to know about his problem when she married him,I think she was the only one who could have saved him you know like Johnny & June but she chose what was best for her not them.
@kathy2010spears Sometimes people HAVE TO do what is best for them. I was raised by an alcoholic...and when my son was born 12 years ago, i had to do what was best for him, and remove her from my life.
Toxicity is no longer welcome in my life, and nobody can save an alcoholic but the alcoholic- anyone who tries will be resented for it, until the alcoholic chooses to save themselves.
It may sound unfair, but maybe he had reasons for his problems. He was a great singer. I will always ask the question whether he was really happy?? No offence to Lorrie.
Thank you Sharon for this upload....i love all Keith's music but this one is a so deep from his heart. We are truely blessed to have lived and felt real emoiton with the great Keith Whitley!
wow it took 30 years of my life to try and forget my father , And 2:53 secs to see how much i still miss him and no matter what i am always going to be his daughter .
Gone at 32, and this recording shows the ravages his voice had already suffered. Just one of the pointless deaths in music due to substance abuse. I came home from a ball game in New York, and heard the bulletin on the news at 2 A.M. It was an awful jolt. I love "Till Each Tear you Cry Becomes a Rose."
@MyTiger44 Keith was born at Kings Daughters Hospital in Ashland, KY on July 1, 1954, and died at his home in Goodlettsville, TN on May 9, 1989. That would make him 34 years of age at the time of death.
@musicmandon1 beautiful tribute to such a fine singer and lovely man, i met him yrs and yrs ago.......he put his whole heart into his music, just as does Steve Earle, my hero and favorite for yrs and yrs. God bless Keith and the family he left behind....
OMG....................I have goose bumps!!!!! HOW INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!! This has to be the BEST video ever! Wonderful job!!!!! And I am a huge Whitley fan and never heard this song!!!! Kudos!!!! You don't happen to have the lyrics handy??? Oh, just a GREAT video!
I really liked Keiths music and was privileged to see him in a bar in Pensacola, Fla. There was only a few people there but Keith sang like there were thousands. He was a super gentleman and even took pics with my sister and I. I cherish the picture. I cried when he died. A true talent gone before his time. Its obvious how much Lorrie loved him when you hear her music. God keep Keith in his loving arms. He is at peace.
Actually love this song...I know how he feels. To me he was the greatest. Loved his music..Its a shame he is gone...Will always remember his music and will always listen to it..He sung songs that really have meaning to them, whats in his heart..
Keith Whitley was an amazing talent. He had it all. Good Country Voice, absolutely outstanding song writing ability and a great band. But he was an alcoholic. It was not Lorrie Morgan's fault. It was HIS choice. For gosh sakes folks, quit blaming Lorrie Morgan for his mistakes. Who are you to judge? No one knows the dynamics at home. I expect neither were angels. Okay? Most of us aren't. God Rest his soul and I for one thank him for his music. Wish he was still here.
In my mind Lorrie was his downfall- at the time of his death she was doing 'anything' and 'everything' to further her own career- is it not true she was in fact on Kenny Roger's bus in his bed, when notified of Keith's death?
I have only listened to country now and again. I remember liking "When You Say Nothing at All" on the radio. I would just scan stations and listen to songs I enjoyed. I knew nothing about Keith. Well I just discovered who was behind the song, and discovered some other of his songs and his story. What a beautiful Beautiful Voice. Tears down my face.
The money thing...unfortunately, Keith was more successful after his death. Not because he died. It was because he died as his career was starting to roll like it should have. Alcohol really took a great talent from us all. So sad. Rest Iin peace, my friend. You are still missed and very much loved.
This is a beautiful song! I think they must have loved each other in their own ways to even be together. I like them both as musical artist and the rest is none of my business, just like it is no one else's! No one knows what goes on in a home unless they are in the home!
It looks like lead angel has missed the main teaching of the bible. Jesus spent his time with the drunks, the thieves, the prostitutes. Those are who loves the most because they're broken. Just because someone has an addiction doesn't make them unworthy of Gods love. It makes them more worthy because they see the need for a savior. Lead Angel you put yourself in a class with the hereticks.
I question the money part. He lived in a small, very modest brick rancher in Goodlettsville, had no life insurance, and reinvested his money back into his business. Toward the end, he was in such demand that he had to buy a 2nd bus so that he could still have transportation while the 1st one was being maintained.
My brother was an alcoholic suicide, so I do know a little about the matter. I also know the people who knew Keith and Lorrie personally. Theirs was a tragic love affair from its beginning. Lorrie's past... Keith's love for alcohol. Two amazing tallents and egos. Distrust, jealousy, then the bottle. A great sadness.
He WAS bigger and better than Lorrie. Lorrie never had a string of back-to-back #1's like Keith did, nor did she enjoy huge success in 2 genres over a 20-year span like Keith. Most everyone on YT who wanted to classify his status put him with Waylon, Hank, & George, the TRUE greats. This is the first someone ever classed him with JUST Lorrie.
well keith didn't have to birth children or run a house hold either, she chose to put her career on hold for the family, which a lot of women do.. they were both huge tallents, that is all that really matters isn't it, and his death is tragic and unfair. I found a lot of really talented artest of many diff forms, suffer from serious mental illness, depression ect.. Van gooh, Elivis Heath ledger, and so on.. I think true talent comes from pain
@littledogs1 you have to remember that keith had a substance abuse problem that went back years. unfortunately he had to make this video hinting that lorrie was the stem of his problems. huge talent he was, but depression and addiction go hand in hand and lorrie got to be a drive by victim
@MAMsMom97 i have to ask and not insinuate the keith's substance abuse problem may have shadowed his whole life?i love his voice and i love his songs and talent, but you have to remember he died taking antibuse i hope u know i'm not trying to be rude saying this, but more people should know how deadly alcholism is, it doesn't discriminate between races or income levels
Wow, I guess you're right. I haven't ever seen anyone compare Keith's & Lorries singing talent, just poop about their married life, and media nauseum :-(
Lorrie is good, but I always thought Keith was the Best & still Is!!! :-)
It's truthful many say and have heard a possible push even though he had modest sales as an artist he may in the future through a grassroots campaign to the hall of fame. He was that talented and had that much promise. Love the story when him and ricky were doing the stanley brothers tunes as a filler/opening act and the critic said they were doing better than the stanley brothers at their own songs. Think if he had lived lorrie would have given up her career for him
@convictcharlie i highly doubt there were any critics as the only time they ever opened for ralph was in ezel ky I used to live in this town it consists of a old gas station tasty freeze and the elementart school i used to go to which is closed down now and is the site of there performance. They opened cause they had been there picking and singing and when the opening act was a no show ralph ask the boys who were 15 to open for him weeks later they both became clinch mountain boys
@convictcharlie keith would become ralphs lead singer after roy lee centers. ralph said he was the best guitar picker he ever had and one of his best lead singers.
In most times it is obvious that Lorrie still is emotionally entangled with the memory of Keith and still hurts. She was the one who had to "man up" when he was under the spell of his addiction. And maybe she had to get rid of the car for her own reasons. Keith was an awesome talent and one that left too soon. Lorrie had people in place to take care of him while she was on the road, working. She never cheated. Not once. She hurts from what never came to be. He loved her too.
People the plain and simple fact is that Keith was an awesome artist with his life in the limelight for all the world to see. Millions of people have addictions but we don't have to worry about being scrutinized by the world. He had an awesome voice and could write damn good songs. Anybody on a high horse judging others needs to realize that everybody is different. If we wasn't then everybody would look alike, sound alike, etc.!!!! Then there would be no such thing as artistry!!
MAMsMoM97...I don't want to adulterate this forum by getting into a slanging match with LeadAngel Warrior. I posted here in admiration of a talented singer songwriter. The 'compassion' I mentioned was that felt for a fellow human being addicted to alcohol.I watched a beloved brother struggle with it. It's not just a question of deciding between right and wrong..it is available everywhere..shops, bars,supermarkets.clubs.social functions and on TV and hoardings..everywhere....love from England.
It's a statement of the time we live in. Many of us are just so sensitive and take much of what is said to us the wrong way. The last 2 years that I've become really, really involved in the Keith Whitley Country Music Hall of Fame petition drive has also been a crash course in human nature, but I've been a fan of Keith's for 21 years.
MAMsMoM 97...thank you for replying...you are very polite..you would be suprised at the country music following here in Liverpool..I have learned so much by scanning these forums and discovered some fabulous artistes. A lot of American records are not even released here. I asked some lads in our local pub...'Who is Garth Brooks'...after being in a huddle for a while, theyy came up with' He's a footballer'.(and at that time he'd sold 60 million records world wide)....best wishes to you and yours.
Alcohol is an anaesthetic to a lot of people. Some gifted people can see and feel things others can not..Booze can take the 'edge' off things for a few hours and give them some rest. Some creative people need that room they can step into. America is a HUGE country and it must be difficult when artistes go on the road. All the travelling etc. It must be hard to say no to drink under those conditions and sit in a hotel bedroom until you board the coach next morning.,practically impossible.
LeadAngel Warrior..Your reply seems to lose something in the translation..I don't understand it. Maybe you should go on the road for a few weeks as a musician and see what life is REALLY like...Or watch less talented people being more successful. Lots of creative talented people need a crutch to cope and alcohol is always there .....waiting......Keith Whitely is not the first and certainly won't be the last. The first word I thought of was 'Compassion'......how about you!
If you watch, I believe, part 1 of my video series "The Life & Times of Keith Whitley," you will hear his brother Dwight tell how he thought Keith came into alcohol addiction as a teenager. He said that ppl offered it when you come offstage, & it was readily available. And at that point in his life, he was not mature enough to say no, and Ralph Stanley let him have it. He felt he was responsible for him only to a point. Keith's dad Elmer was a drinker, too, but was not addicted to it like Keith.
*i* lost something in translation? gimme a break i have no idea what you're talking about baiting people w/ alcohol, are you? that's what the demons do compassion? again i have no idea what you're talking about you're all confused if you're implying it is compassionate for someone to drink bec they're lonely or bored or a genius or sensitive, well that's just -- like i said before -- spiritually ignorant but you can stay in that ignorance if you want to now go away
'Now go away' you say...YOU repied to my post..I wont corrupt this forum with what I'd realy like to reply to you.If 'Spiritually ignorant 'means that I dont believe a man sits on a golden throne in the sky and watches ME all day then I guess I must be.I wrote here in praise of Keith Whitely's talent and was insulted by you. You seem not to understand what alcohol addiction is. It's not just a case of deciding what's right or wrong..it's an addiction....like you with your bible.
You know nothing of alcoholism do you, LeadAngelWarrior? It's apparent, so why not shut up! The only one who could help Keith Whitley was Keith, himself!
Talent is secondary to the music industry. It is a business and they'll produce whatever the public will buy..sometimes talent and public taste combine and great singers and songwriters become successful. Keith Whitely was a great artiste who will be remembered . I wonder why so many country artistes have English names..Parton..Nelson..Jones..Strait..Jackson..Black..Cash and of course..Whitley...best wishes to you all from across the 'pond'.
Thank you for the very nice comment. I agree with everything you said. Keith enjoyed quite a following in Europe, having released his 1st UK single, "Birmingham Turnaround," just before his death. As far as country artists all having English names, that may be because country music was born of old folk tunes that was sung in the Appalachian Mountains by immigrants from Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, England, and other European countries who settled there. Thanks again!
Keith's mom Faye and my mom were cousins, both from Sandy Hook, Kentucky. I feel so fortunate to be connected to such a legend. I'm so happy to have found these precious videos.
Does anyone know what video the clip at 1:24 was from? It is kind of a fast song by Keith Whitley. If anyone knows the song I am talking about; please let me know. Thanks.
That clip was from the documentary "The Life And Times of Keith Whitley" that TNN made around 1995 or so. It is here on youtube by the same person who made this video. Great show if you ever see it!
I wish somebody would put up a giant billboard in Nashville right off I-40 saying, "Keith Whitley - CMHOF - NOW!!" Same goes for Mel Street. Both of em were as country as fried chicken and corn bread. My only question is who killed country music? Why isn't anyone doing heart felt stuff like this anymore?
I guess it's all about commercialism and consumerism....it's sad yes, to see the way the music industry churning out songs that would put an assembly line to shame...but there are a few good ones out there. But they're mostly on their own. Or if they've made it big, it would've been through some tough times but I guess that's what's made them special....
If that's what you want for him, you can do your part by signing the petition to show support for Keith getting inducted into the CMHOF. The link to the petiton is on my channel. Lorrie has signed it, Jesse, Morgan, former band members, and many other country performers as well as others from every walk of life. We have close to 3,000 signatures, and it's the talk of Nashville. If you haven't signed it yet, get over there and do it!
not to take anything away from keith he had wonderful talent & an amazing voice.lee greenwood & suzy bogguss do a very good version of this song as well.wished keith was still around tho.there was so much emotion & truth in the things he sang about.dont get that these days.
...because Keith wasn't as large as lets say...George Strait...the CMHOF figures he wasn't as great....that's all I can come up with...but PLEASE...I agree....get this guy in the hall of fame...I'll be long gone before there's another Keith Whitley! I'll see ya soon brother!
He had alcoholism which was made worse by the fact that he never dealt with the demons of his past. It is unfortunate that a great talent like Keith is gone due to this disease.
i hope his music and memory lives on,like carter stanley i wonder what would have happend if they have lived> God bless keith whitley and carter stanley
look at 32 sec. at her throat. Hou unsexy can that be? I am super sexy and wish he would have married me; then he never would have died. I would have satisfied him to the utmost
Are you that deluded? Keith, although tremendously talented, was an alcoholic, and sadly, that is what killed him. Nothing or no one could have kept him alive except a desire to be sober. Your comment is ignorant and sad and pitiful. I hope you will become more educated throughout your life.
Lorrie didn't "destroy" him, stupid. It was alcoholism...plain and simple. If you really want to know what it was that killed him... find out more about the disease that is alcoholism.
Is this song on any of his albums? Its a shame if it never ended up on an album. This is some of his best work- Right up there with "Do you think of me" and "I'm no stranger to the rain"..
No, sadly, this was one of many that didn't make it on any legitimate release. There were some shaky ones, but most of the unreleased material were definitely worthy of legitimate release. And this one was one of them, I agree. Thank you!
Love the video - as always with everything you post. I was just reading some of the other comments. Is this true, that she actually has NOT signed the petition to help get him in CMHOF? That's just crazy to me. I thought she "loved him so much and thought he was the best singer she had ever heard!"
No, she hasn't. I don't know what her reasoning is, and I try not to speculate. Right now I'm at a place where I just don't understand people. It would seem the ones who you'd expect to get support from are the ones who don't give it. As old as I am, that concept still hasn't dawned on me. It still throws me for a loop.
Ooh, wouldn't you just love to hear my thoughts on that subject! Don't even get me started. I don't think she thinks much about him, only because she hasn't proven to me that she's never shown support for his being immortalized in the CMHOF. There are others out there who maintain that she has, but those efforts never amounted to anything nor did they ever get anything accomplished. And until she signs that petition that's out there, I'll continue to feel that way.
But, I should add, to her defense, Lorrie did shut down some not-too-kosher operations that some people tried to start and attached Keith's name to. To that end, I do applaud her for that. We have to always be careful what we say about people before we get all sides to the story.
That's why she got rid of all his personal effects and left nothing for Jesse to keep as a memento of his daddy. Why, if you go on eBay right now and search under Keith Whitley, you'll find that Lorrie even put his beloved '85 Corvette--the friggin' Whitbom!!!--up for bids, with NO RESERVE!!! Yeah, that's love!
Lorrie is entitled to do whatever she thinks best just as any of us are when someone passes away and leaves things in our possesion. Lay off of Lorie-give her a break!!!!
Damn and just when I was beginning to be behind you. MAMsMOM97. We all deal with hurt in our own way. Yes angry has a part to play. Remember the post I said about Keith and received so many hate mails, Well I meant it then and I mean it now. I was in the business for over 25 years. I m dealing with some of what Keith was going through. No one cares. Maybe MamsMom97 I ll tell yoi about a conversation I had on the eveing of May 8th 1989. With someone we both admire. That s why I m so hate filled.
Hey, I feel somewhat differently now than what I did a year ago. Lorrie has proven that she is behind our efforts and has made no attempt to shut us down, because I can assure you, if she wanted to, she'd have done it a long time ago. I don't harbor any hatred towards Lorrie Morgan, but I'm perplexed by some of the decisions she makes. Like selling the Whitbom. That car was a museum piece! The history behind that car... Dottie West was the previous owner before Keith bought it!
how do you know that Lorrie doesn't have anything for Jesse to remember his father by? do you live with her? do you know her personally? what she does behind closed doors is between her & Jesse. don't put stuff up here unless you know for sure.
Great Video, I've always been a great Keith Whitley fan, my brother sings a whole lot like Keith, my dad traveled and played country music all our lifes, never been much of a Lori Morgan fan tho...Thanks for sharing and visiting our site,Barely Here Band.
When I was last in Sandy Hook on Labor Day Weekend '06, my mom & daughter got bored and wanted to take a hike down the nature trail that runs behind the visitors center there. When we came back in from the hike, my friend Jeff (mdgtrpkr) told me I had just missed Jessie by, like, 5 minutes. He said he had been there with his posse to visit with his Grandma Faye. AAAARRRRGGGGHHH!
The best of the best always

I have read all these post about Keith and his problem with alcohol, an alcoholic uses alcohol to ease the pain for whatever reason but I,m guessing Lorrie because all his songs point in her direction even this one he says he'll never be sure if she loved him, but I don't think she loved him as much as he did her. She had to know about his problem when she married him,I think she was the only one who could have saved him you know like Johnny & June but she chose what was best for her not them.

DAVEALACA 1 year ago 4

Keith Whitley was & is still one of my all time fave country singers.
If he were still alive today, IMHO, he'd be just as big an artist as Lorrie, if not better!
May you Rest in Peace dear Keith Whitley. May you inspire people with your music forever! :-)
DaveRification 2 years ago 4
He WAS bigger and better than Lorrie. Lorrie never had a string of back-to-back #1's like Keith did, nor did she enjoy huge success in 2 genres over a 20-year span like Keith. Most everyone on YT who wanted to classify his status put him with Waylon, Hank, & George, the TRUE greats. This is the first someone ever classed him with JUST Lorrie.
MAMsMom97 2 years ago 3
well keith didn't have to birth children or run a house hold either, she chose to put her career on hold for the family, which a lot of women do.. they were both huge tallents, that is all that really matters isn't it, and his death is tragic and unfair. I found a lot of really talented artest of many diff forms, suffer from serious mental illness, depression ect.. Van gooh, Elivis Heath ledger, and so on.. I think true talent comes from pain
littledogs1 2 years ago
@littledogs1 you have to remember that keith had a substance abuse problem that went back years. unfortunately he had to make this video hinting that lorrie was the stem of his problems. huge talent he was, but depression and addiction go hand in hand and lorrie got to be a drive by victim

It's not just a question of deciding between right and wrong..it is available everywhere..shops, bars,supermarkets.clubs.social functions and on TV and hoardings..everywhere....love from England.
tony00165 2 years ago
It's a statement of the time we live in. Many of us are just so sensitive and take much of what is said to us the wrong way. The last 2 years that I've become really, really involved in the Keith Whitley Country Music Hall of Fame petition drive has also been a crash course in human nature, but I've been a fan of Keith's for 21 years.
MAMsMom97 2 years ago

It must be hard to say no to drink under those conditions and sit in a hotel bedroom until you board the coach next morning.,practically impossible.
tony00165 2 years ago
oh please
sobriety is a state of mind and a choice of good
not a choice when you're bored in a hotel room
totally possible
and really just spiritually ignorant to think any different
LeadAngelWarrior 2 years ago
LeadAngel Warrior..Your reply seems to lose something in the translation..I don't understand it. Maybe you should go on the road for a few weeks as a musician and see what life is REALLY like...Or watch less talented people being more successful. Lots of creative talented people need a crutch to cope and alcohol is always there .....waiting......Keith Whitely is not the first and certainly won't be the last. The first word I thought of was 'Compassion'......how about you!
tony00165 2 years ago
If you watch, I believe, part 1 of my video series "The Life & Times of Keith Whitley," you will hear his brother Dwight tell how he thought Keith came into alcohol addiction as a teenager. He said that ppl offered it when you come offstage, & it was readily available. And at that point in his life, he was not mature enough to say no, and Ralph Stanley let him have it. He felt he was responsible for him only to a point. Keith's dad Elmer was a drinker, too, but was not addicted to it like Keith.

It's not just a case of deciding what's right or wrong..it's an addiction....like you with your bible.
tony00165 2 years ago
You know nothing of alcoholism do you, LeadAngelWarrior? It's apparent, so why not shut up! The only one who could help Keith Whitley was Keith, himself!
okgal888 2 years ago 5
Talent is secondary to the music industry. It is a business and they'll produce whatever the public will buy..sometimes talent and public taste combine and great singers and songwriters become successful. Keith Whitely was a great artiste who will be remembered . I wonder why so many country artistes have English names..Parton..Nelson..Jones..Strait..Jackson..Black..Cash and of course..Whitley...best wishes to you all from across the 'pond'.
tony00165 2 years ago
Thank you for the very nice comment. I agree with everything you said. Keith enjoyed quite a following in Europe, having released his 1st UK single, "Birmingham Turnaround," just before his death. As far as country artists all having English names, that may be because country music was born of old folk tunes that was sung in the Appalachian Mountains by immigrants from Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, England, and other European countries who settled there. Thanks again!

The link to the petiton is on my channel. jkwfan 3 years ago
MAMsMom97 3 years ago
I Wonder What Lorrie's Thoughts Are Now Of Keith Whitley Since It Has Been Nearly 20 Years Since His Untimely Passing.
drfever99 3 years ago
Ooh, wouldn't you just love to hear my thoughts on that subject! Don't even get me started. I don't think she thinks much about him, only because she hasn't proven to me that she's never shown support for his being immortalized in the CMHOF. There are others out there who maintain that she has, but those efforts never amounted to anything nor did they ever get anything accomplished. And until she signs that petition that's out there, I'll continue to feel that way.
MAMsMom97 3 years ago
But, I should add, to her defense, Lorrie did shut down some not-too-kosher operations that some people tried to start and attached Keith's name to. To that end, I do applaud her for that. We have to always be careful what we say about people before we get all sides to the story.

That's why she got rid of all his personal effects and left nothing for Jesse to keep as a memento of his daddy.

When we came back in from the hike, my friend Jeff (mdgtrpkr) told me I had just missed Jessie by, like, 5 minutes. He said he had been there with his posse to visit with his Grandma Faye. AAAARRRRGGGGHHH!
