  • 1996 is far from 1776.

  • I don't recall ever hearing of slave ownership as a requirement for voting, was this actually ever the case?

  • @BloodskullMannoroth slave ownership was not a requirement but you did have to have a certain amount of property to vote and slaves were considered property

  • @Israelilove And they were also giving out plots of land like crazy, so it's not as elitist as it sounds. This video overall is a pretty big strawman, no one wants the technology to return to this level, or the various injustices that were present. People want constitutionality back.

  • @Israelilove the original requirement of property applied only to 'real' property, which according to english common law is the land or anything attached physically to it, like a house. Slaves were considered personal property, as opposed to real property.

But virtually all slave owners were also land owners. :P

  • this video is so true. I don't think a single one of the tea party people realise that times have changed and so has the way we look at the constiution. That what the sumpre court is for.

  • nah. A big ole wiff of a strike on this one, Mark.

  • yep I'm a totla idiot. . .Lolz

  • Propaganda alert!

  • @GuyEndore Fucktard alert!

  • @GuyEndore As opposed to the propaganda reaming you get every day on fox?

  • the constitution is what the supreme court says it is....

    vote wisely

    demand better

  • What is this bullshit.

  • @yoss1978 The truth about america.

Originally only property owning whites could vote

  • @dervishmadwhirler your comment "My 'name' is Dervish Mad Whirler, I am almost 43...My preferred 'sacramental' substances are LSD and DMT"

LSD or Lysergic Acid Diethylamide is a hallucinogenic drug (which means you’re likely to experience a distorted view of objects and reality, including in the form of hallucinations).

  • @4bbc Let me remind you that you defend the deeds of Sai Baba, i.e. the sexual abuse of young boys, by quoting Sai Baba saying that he, as avatar of god; reincarnation of god, is beyond repraoch and that no mortal uninitiated person can judge his deeds. The allegations against Sai can be found on many sites on the web.

This is why Sai has not been arrested: "His devotees include several heads of state and government, members of royal families and top politicians and bureaucrats of the country "

  • @dervishmadwhirler

The psychedelic hallucinogen LSD was first made using an extract that was isolated from ergot. But when eaten, the cocktail of POISONOUS neurotoxins and hallucinogens found in ergot-infected grain makes for a pretty BAD TRIP – ergot poisoning leads to convulsive fits, vomiting, prickling sensations under the skin, and hallucinations.

  • @4bbc "The psychedelic hallucinogen LSD was first made using an extract that was isolated from ergot."

The keywords here are "isolated from"...the inventor of LSD, Albert Hofmann, one of the most important people in the world of medicine, took LSD many times. He died at the age of 102 years old. Completely lucid, completely healthy.

Ignorance of reality is a trait many devotees of self-proclaimed gurus possess. Lack of intellectual capacities. The tendency to misunderstand common sense.

  • @dervishmadwhirler

LSD can DISTORT perceptions of reality and produce HALLUCINATIONS; the effects can be frightening and cause PANIC.

  • @4bbc - What is your duty Dr. G. Venkataraman?

Let me summarize it for you: stay fool throughout your life, you are brainless sheep.

  • more anti-white propangda, i guess he forgot to put in there that it was the whiteman who freed the slaves with their own blood gave women the right to vote and gave their lives so all men could be free this is just some more liberal nazi propangda to turn everybody against each other so the so called elite can stay in power and to continue the destruction of our nation if they get us to hate our own country then we wont care what happens to her god bless america

  • @allenco65 Ummm liberals gave women the right to vote.

The "conservatives" believed women were inferior and didn't deserve the right to vote...one of the reasons was the bible, it's the same excuse the same types of people give for not letting gays marry.

Womens rights was called crazy marxist communist liberalism trying to destroy america.

    Thanks for playing teatard

  • @dffykvn i think it was everybody who gave women the right to vote and i dont care what homos do and if ur refering to the tea party sorry u liberal nazi dipsh** im an independent go kiss ur boyfriend everyone has the right to their own opinion u internet bully

  • @allen Uhh no

The conservatives of the time fought against giving women the right to vote

Women who wanted suffrage were actually attacked for not being traditional women

I'm not talking about being cursed at by an internet toughguy whos handle is allenco65

I mean actually having the shit kicked out of them for having the nerve to say they wanted rights

The far right was SERIOUSLY against it

Hell shafley still leads the wimmin should shut up and get back in the kitchen movement

  • @dffykvn i'm no internet toughguy ur the one who started calling names because u didnt like what i wrote. its funny how u dont see that u are the internet tough guy/ bully because u think what ur saying is so PC correct and its not nothing in this world is as simple as black and white .and im sure that there were plenty of men back then just like me who would kick the tar out of any man who would dare hit a woman for any reason

  • @allenco65 Of course there were, but there were also men that would beat the shit out of women for "having the nerve to want a vote"

  • @dffykvn so whats ur point i think all those men are dead and gone

  • @allenco65 Those specific men? Yes they are. But there are still "get back in the kitchen" conservatives who want to "uphold traditional values"

You should look up phyllis schlaffley

That bitch was the craziest thing in ameria until the westboro baptist church trolled on in.

I think she's STILL doing the get back in the kitchen nonsense

  • hahaha..funny =0)

  • so that's what the tea party meant by "we want our America back"

  • Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone.

Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.

    Thomas Jefferson

Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty abused to licentiousness.

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.

    George Washington

  • @Denverlibertarion I hear ya brother. Here are some interesting quotables about why else we shouldnt chuck out the constitution just because some libtards think its obsolete:

When an opponent declares, "I will not come over to your side," I calmly say, "Your child belongs to us already... What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community."

    Adolph Hitler.

  • @portlandbusxxx Yup. As I was saying before to someone. If The Libs could get away with it they would praise Hitler just as they praise Mao, Stalin, FDR and Pol Pot.

  • A government powerful to give you anything you want has the power to take it away from you and take away everything you have.

A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government.

Dependence begets subservience and venality, suffocates the germ of virtue.

    Thomas jefferson

  • Here I stand with my bayonets and here you stand with your laws. who will be victorious? The heaviest blow ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity. Bolshevism is Christianitys illegitimate child Both are inventions of the Jew.

    Adolph Hitler

It is the absolute right of the State to supervise the formation of public opinion

Think of the press as a great keyboard on which the government can play

when I hear the word culture, I reach for my revolver

    Joseph Goebels

  • Apparently Fiore and his followers do not understand the basic intent of the constitution. To Act as a buffer and a check against government intruding on our freedom liberty and prosperity which comes from God and not from the state which can take away that which it gives. It is because we had a government that was limited and feared the people instead of the other way around that wer became the greatest nation in history.

  • @nhstategop Heheheheh, greatest nation in history. What a load of propaganda crap.

  • @dervishmadwhirler Yeah, coming from some nerd who lives in a country with double digit joblessness and six times the homocide rate of the US. I smell envy.

  • Comment removed

  • @portlandbusxxx

Umm, dude, where do you get your info? There are less jobless people in my country than in your 'so great' nation. Six times the homicide rate? You fucking serious? One sixth the rate you have, you mean.

YOU are a wonderful example of why we dont envy you.

What is this sick american idea that people envy you silly buggers, by the way?

You people are a bunch of moronic brainless fucks who just echo populist media slogans.and dont think ..living in a bankrupt police-state.

  • @dervishmadwhirler Police state? From someone who wants the government to wait on them hand and foot and force the rest of the world to comply? You are the moronic fuck stupid.

What is this sick american idea that people envy you silly buggers, by the way?

Why Else would Europe cheer the election of Obama? Because they know he is going to weaken the US with his policies and proposals which WILL ultimately lead to a police state. Yes The Netherlands has higher crime and poverty BTW

  • @dervishmadwhirler I get my info from various websites including those in soviet police state Europe BTW.

10 years ago before the recession hit we had an average unemployment rate of 5%. Meanwhile the EU averaged nearly 10% and in some places it was much much higher. We also make 10 times the GDP you did and every other developed nation combined.

Now, we have idiots in charge who want to imersonate your failed economic model and send us flying off the cliff as well.

  • @portlandbusxxx

You clearly do not visit the right websites...

Crime statistics tell me that america is on #24 in the list of highest crime rates, and Netherlands at nr 51?

And believe me, not many people in Europe are positive towards Obama or the US in general..

We have a much lower national debt , in the Netherlands, in comparison, and we have a significantly higher GDP in Europe...

You can have a big mouth and huge imagination, pal, but you cannot change the facts, silly twat...

  • @dervishmadwhirler I actually found several websites that were British based from 10 years ago. Reuters and the UK Guardian to be exact. Also I've been noticing your country is being slowly taken over and turned into a Muslim Theocracy. Looking forward to wearing a veil and getting beat up by your husband?

  • @Denverlibertarion

Heheh, yeah, we are about as much a muslim country as the US...or less...

We dont have much religion in politics, As opposed to the US where a believe in a god seems to be the main motivator for most politicians...at least, it was like that, until chairman Obama took over and implemented corporate communism a few steps further..

The problem with the MSM is, that they simply project a certain envisioned idea upon their news, to influence voters...dont believe them

  • @dervishmadwhirler *SNIFF* sooooooo... Pot calling the kettle black eh? I smell socialist propaganda. Certainly isn't the cat box.

  • @nhstategop

Socialist propaganda? Haha, you are so wrong its cute.

You do not understand the world, its pretty clear; for you, there is either black or white; no colours.

I am neither socialist, republican, democrat, social democrat, communist, or whichever -ism you want to project on me.

I merely look at all sides and see the same shit flowing from different people's mouths...

Robotic voices shouting slogans...no mind of their own, no ability to think beyond their programming.

  • @dervishmadliberal No you definitely are a leftist and ignorant. You think all those freebies you get in Europe are going to help you out when the government destroys what little freedom you have left? You'll be wishing you were living here when that happens.

  • @nhstategop

Bla bla, dude, you speak in slogans.

    Think for yourself, sucker.

I bet you watch Glenn Back and like him too...:P

Your words have the same weird echoes: propaganda...ganda...anda...

Dude I dont fucking care what you think about Europe; it'll take a long time before laws here will be as restrictive and fascist as your laws. At least our money isnt worthless, like yours.

  • @dervishmadwhirler Our money is worthless because we adopted your policies amongst other things, printing and borrowing money to destroy currency which libtards like Keynes urged liberals to do to undermine America 80 years ago. Europe is already restrictive and we have adopted your laws in states like California Maine New Jersey New York and elsewhere.

  • @nhstategop dude, your 'country' have always just been a corporation still owned by Great Britain; basically, ameritards are outcasts from Europe, living in a dream, whilst adopting the worst slave-existence, calling it 'democracy' and republic' but which has always been far right of a dictatorship...corporate fascism...unprotected by laws, because in secret all laws are bypassed by the multi-billion dollar corporate elite. Its the lack of true news which kept the dream alive for the people.

  • @dervishmadwhirler Slave existance? Thats only a recent development thanks to libtards like you coming around and replacing our constitutional republic with big government communism. Corporate fascism? Fascism is exactly what you liberals are trying to foist on us.

  • @nhstategop

You are stuck in a groove, man!. "Libtards", "you liberals"

Guess you dont read all that well...

I dont push anything on anyone.

I basically dont endorse any form of government or system. People are not equipped to govern other people. In any form, be it religious or political.

America and it's constitution were formed at the cost of the freedom of the original inhabitants. in 250 years or so it has destroyed what they stole from the rightful inhabitants, the native americans.

  • @dervishmadwhirler Kudos to you, my friend! Speaking on behalf of my oppressed ancestors has gained you my respect.

  • @dervishmadwhirler The founding fathers originally intended for the native americans to be civilized and assimilated through missionaries. Unfortunately, Vatican influence along with greedy corrupt politicians involved with the masons sed force instead to assimilate the indians. For more information you should look up the prophetstown incident.

  • @nhstategop You mean told to convert or be burned to death, they had children stolen from them and the children were forced into conversion.

It was an attempt to inflict a cultural genocide (destroying the natives culture and forcing them to "be white")

  • @dffykvn You mean told to convert or be burned to death

That wasnt christian that was the result of Influence by the Vatican and Freemasons.

  • @nhstategop The protestants did it too...or did you forget salem?

  • @dffykvn That was an aberation. In fact Cotton mather even admitted it was anti biblical. The real witches got away scot free.

  • @nhstategop Real witches? Seriously?

You do know that harry potter is a work of fiction not a documentary

  • @dffykvn Not neccesarily.

  • @nhstategop You're right, I'm trying to cover for the wizardlings

We just finished a war with the local jedi academy and even though we kicked their space hippy asses we still need some time before our next fi...

I wonder if you're delusional enough to think that that was serious

  • @dffykvn The word for witchcraft ion the bible is pharamacia. Its talking about sorcery or hallucenegenic narcotics. you totally misunderstand. Its nothig like harry potter.

  • @nhstategop -_- Do you know who the idiot christians burned?

They burned the old ladies that new stuff about local herbs who would use their knowledge of how herbs and chemicals interacted with the human body to help people.

Got an infection? The priest will tell you to lie down and die, the "witch" aka the "pharmacist" will give you herbs to get rid of the infection

They put people with rudimentary medical knowledge to the death

  • @dervishmadwhirler your comment "My 'name' is Dervish Mad Whirler, I am almost 43...My preferred 'sacramental' substances are LSD and DMT"

    What exactly is your duty?

  • @4bbc I have no duty.

Your duty is to vilify people who expose your guru Sai Baba, the paedohile fake Swami. Who sexually abuses little boys. Anf who excapes justice, because he buys politicians.

  • @4bbc Dude, my profile is available to everyone; I am open about my use of pscyhedelics. I even healed people with these substances. DNA was discovered by an LSD user.. Why are you tracking down my comments trying to discredit me, posting that which is openly visible on my channel? Perhaps it escapes you that I dont mind people knowing about the benefits of shamanic medicine. You are afraid of the truths about your master that I posted on the video which also exposes his trickery. Pathetic.

  • @4bbc Even funnier is the fact that you track my username on the internet, on other sites. Little maggot-slave, I am well-known for my defenses of psychedelic substances. The benefits of them are widely documented.

Even now, pscyhedelic substances are again being used in many countries with promising results.

However, the benefits of child-rape and sexual abuse by fake Gurus is frowned upon, to say the least.

So is internet stalking, by the way. It seems my remarks on that video hit the mark...

  • @dervishmadwhirler your comment "Dude, my profile is available to everyone; I am open about my use of pscyhedelics."

Psychedelics are thought to alter the brain's ability to prevent, select or filter certain perceptions, emotions, memories and thoughts from reaching the conscious mind.

  • @4bbc "Psychedelics are thought to alter the brain's ability to prevent, select or filter certain perceptions, emotions, memories and thoughts from reaching the conscious mind." I do not hallucinate the fact that Sai Baba, your guru, has had more than 50 people accuse him of sexual abuse and paedophilia thru the years; the only reason why he has not been persecuted in India is because he bought politicians, and any accusation is destroyed and denied by corrupt politicians and judges.

  • @dervishmadwhirler your comment "Dude, my profile is available to everyone; I am open about my use of pscyhedelics." Psychedelics can be very DANGEROUS. Drugs of plant origin have inconsistent dosages influenced by how the plants were grown, harvested, and processed.

  • @4bbc "Psychedelics are thought to alter the brain's ability to prevent, select or filter certain perceptions, emotions, memories and thoughts from reaching the conscious mind."

The key words in this assumption are "thought to". The effect of psychedelic susbstances differs greatly from user to user. Psychotics or people who suffer from mental problems, MAY experience exaggerated symptoms of THEIR PSYCHOSIS.

Mentally stable people do not experience this effect beyond the trip experience..

  • @4bbc It's useless to try and discredit me, by tyhe way, because, even if I would be delucional, NOTHING can change the fact that there is a truckkload of evidence that Satya Sai is a fraud, a trickster and a paedophile.

There is plenty of documentation all over the world which cannot in any way be denied.

The only 'debunkers' of said accusations one can find on the whole web, are devotees of Sai.

It is interesting, that on this video, you do not spam the comment section with quotes of Sai.

  • @dervishmadwhirler your comment "My 'name' is Dervish Mad Whirler, I am almost 43...My preferred 'sacramental' substances are LSD and DMT"

Controlled substance laws are designed to make it difficult to access such drugs, protecting people from HARMFUL effects such as permanent alteration of brain chemistry, injuries acquired while under the influence of drugs, and so forth.

  • @dervishmadwhirler dude u are so right they just want to destroy what we have and the american way of life were to strong they need to cut us down a bit so w'ell be nice and do and think as they do, no room for any thought but what they want us to think

  • @dervishmadwhirler Your on your way there. A young warlord named mohammed is coming to your town...

And we no longer have religion. Prayer the 10 commandments and bible studies are out of schools, replaced by drugs gangs and rapists. Belief in God is essential to maintain a free society. When the politicians take an oath of office to uphold the constitution they know they are accountable to a supreme being. When we did this we were better off. But we dont and now corruption reings supreme.

  • @Denverlibertarion

"Belief in God is essential to maintain a free society." Dude, it's been religion and an imposed belief in god which have lain the basis for this unfree society we have now. Which has imprinted the fallacy of the need for hierarchy into our genes. By force.

The Bible is ja book written by people for reasons not even remotely spiritual. And dont think it is any different from the Q'uran. Islam uses god to renounce chritians, xtians use god to renounce Islam..

  • @dervishmadwhirler it's been religion and an imposed belief in god which have lain the basis for this unfree society we have now.

WRONG! It is government and atheism that made that possible. Just look at China and the USSR! The latter no longer with us murdered 100million and the former is on its way. Europe will join them. Just reading up on a woman in Britain who had her house taken away by the state locked in an institution. you think you can sustain yourselves by taking property away? hA!

  • You mean, imposed religion and forced belief will keep people, intheir place and prevent power from being usurped by ruthless dictatros? Wake up, man,

You think in black and white, assuming that the opposite of religion is atheism and communism..

Religion; the ritualized and rigid dogma of the anti-spiritual power hungry...has been the main cause of mass death in history, the justification for genocide, slavery, mass hypnosis, world wars, racism, sexism, pedophilia......

  • @Denverlibertarion

I cant understand why you think I am a socialist or statist, and an atheist. I am not.

Belief and spirituality is a personal thing, not be imposed upon people.

People's lives need to be free, unencumbered and not controlled by states, hierarchical structures or civilization. Capitalism, as well as communism, socialism and any -ism. The monetary system is a system of injustic, democracy is a system of injustice, Basically, any system imposed on anything or anyone is oppression

  • @Denverlibertarion

Corrup[tion ahs always been a major part of society, people have just always been too busy feeling guilty for their imagined 'sins' to notice anything but what their 'betters' told them.

Ritualized repetitive prayer and mind-numbing scripture doesnt change anything about that; at the highest levels people still know they can do whatever they want.

Money-power has always been the highest authority in politics and religion.

Its just more in the open now.

  • It is when people forget God that tyrants forge their chains."

    Patrick Henry

Man will ultimately be governed by God or by tyrants."

    Benjamin Franklin

Every step we take towards making the State our Caretaker of our lives, by that much we move toward making the State our Master."

    Dwight D. Eisenhower

  • @norwonk OVER-REACTION! Laugh at the man who doesn't understand the concept of satire!

  • Wow, talk about drinking koolaid. Hey Mark, why don't you pick up a copy of the Declaration, the Constitution and the Federalist Papers? Then, pick up a copy of David McCullough's book "John Adams" -- for starters. Apparently, the public school you went to didn't teach enough history to give you balance... then again, maybe indoctrination never intended to achive this. But hey, you make really good cartoons.

  • stupid baggers are constantly yelling that they want to take their country back, but those numbnuts can never & will never answer the questions "from whom?" or "to when?" maybe one the "dislikes" can explain that here. what exactly do you idiots mean when you say you want to "take the country back"?

  • Brilliant. You forgot to throw in that they would likely be HEMP farmers, like Washington was. Damn hippy!

  • @Seldona

Right! George Washnington being a useless pot smoker.... lol

  • @bohemianwriter1 Actually, Ben Franklin was one of the biggest pothead in history.

  • @Phelan666

It's a postcard I once sent from Amsterdam to my boss and colleagues 11 years ago: A picture of Einstein smoking a joint, saying "First I blew my brains out, then I became a genoius". He hang it up on the wall in the wall in the office for anyone to see.

Off course I was full of Jamaican Weed when I wrote it and sent it. 2 months ago I went to Ben Franklins' House in London.

Check out my blog carrying my nickname...

  • Great I want 1000 slaves n big old plantation! Where do I sign up!

  • @bohemianh

And force them to grow weed...

  • @bohemianwriter1 Oh I have been there Jamica!

  • @bohemianh

So have I, but I was too young to smoke weed at the time. To think that Ganja trees are growing in the bush is amazing.

It had to take a tour of duty, and a percuasive Jew and a collegue in Gran Canaria to convert me...

  • is that the voice of betty bowers?

  • Like the leeches and the teeth. Where can I get a set, I wannabe juth like George. Although his denthureth might have been theep'th teef, I can't remember.

  • I'm not surprised people are taking issue with this, it's essentially saying that the concepts behind the American constitution are outdated.

Like freedom and rights, very redundant; aye Mark?

  • @AnnoyedDragon No, it's saying that those concepts are developing, along with society. Things change, usually for the better.

I wish I had the power to send the idiots who whine about modernity and long for "traditional values" back even as far as 1950. They'd crawl naked over broken glass to get back to the 21st century.

  • @colourmegone Thinking everything is getting better is as ignorant as thinking it is getting worse.

Just because people advocate the constitution, doesn't mean they want to revert back to that time. There are aspects of the constitution designed to protect a persons freedoms and rights, which has been spit on by modern governments,

Just because it is old doesn't mean it is obsolete, there are parts that can easily be brought forward. Unless of course you think rights overall are obsolete...

  • @AnnoyedDragon In fact everything is getting better. As we learn more about the world and develop scientific and technological methods to deal with problems things have improved immensely.

There were some framers of the US Constitution who thought regular revolution was necessary for true freedom. The facility to amend it was put in for good reason.

Your own ignorance shines in your comments.

  • @colourmegone You say everything is getting better; and you are calling me ignorant?

Scientific and technological advancement have nothing to do with your rights. Technology is getting better, but your right, why haven't you been paying attention to your rights?

A lot of them have gone in the bin in the name of security since 9/11.

  • @AnnoyedDragon Yes I'm calling you ignorant, and hypocritical as well.

People like you drone on and on about your "rights". I agree with George Carlin, you have no "rights", the only thing we have is a better understanding of how to live in the world with each other and that changes all the time. What we do have is freedoms: to exchange ideas; to live as we wish within reason; etc.

People like you talk about rights but you really want to restrict those freedoms so the world suits your opinions.

  • @colourmegone You have no honest opinion, you're just regurgitating a dead comedians opinion because you think he's cool.

You want to live in a world where you have no rights? That's your business, having fun with that. But for what's left of the sane population in America, they can try to hang on to what little rights they have left.

And for the record I'm not an American, I don't even live in America. I just had this bizarre assumption people actually cared about their own interests.

  • @AnnoyedDragon In fact I do have many opinions, not just one as you seem to. And I am from the US but I no longer live there because it's full of people running around with guns shooting each other and ranting about their rights.

Since you're so concerned with that issue I suggest you buy yourself about a dozen guns and move there, you'll fit right in.

  • @colourmegone So, because I think human beings should have rights and shouldn't be treated like cattle, I'm an idiot?

I'm ignorant and hypocritical, because as the constitution requires; I think people actually need to have committed a crime before they can be arrested? I must love guns because I think human beings have rights? You actually made that connection?

I assure you, however bad you may think of me; I doubt it is anything like how I see you right now.

    Enough of this nonsense.

  • @AnnoyedDragon For someone who isn't from the US and doesn't live there you certainly like to bang on about its Constitution and the rights of its citizens. I find this puzzling since it can only be of academic interest to you. Your arguments sound exactly like a Tea Party candidate running for office. I'm sure you'll find plenty of friends of like mind as soon as you reach those hallowed shores. And don't forget your guns!

  • @colourmegone I don't like guns. That's just a fantasy you stick on anyone you don't like, assisting in your self justified disrespect toward them. And I wouldn't like going to that police state called America either.

You don't even have to go to America to be treated like a criminal. The US just demanded the biometrics from everyone in Europe, in the name of fighting terrorism of course.

You're far too self righteous to listen, so why bother continuing this conversation?

  • @AnnoyedDragon Are you talking about seafood? Because I smell a red herring.

Seriously, what? Nowhere was it expressed or implied that the concepts of freedom or rights were obsolete.

This was just a satirization of the so-called Tea Party's constant ranting about "taking back the Constitution" and other cliches.

  • @GarlicPudding The entire video was an attack on people saying that America needs to get back to the constitution. The video performing its own red herring by saying if you want X you must also want Y.

Want America to return to its founding ideals? Then you must want doctors to prescribe leaches for everything again. What? What utter nonsense is that?

The reason I linked the constitution and rights is because the constitution demands certain rights, which modern governments piss all over.

  • @AnnoyedDragon The leeches gag is a little something known as a "hyperbole" It was a metaphor for how society has changed since back in the day, hence the multiple ammendments to the Constutution over the years.

Again, this was a satirization of the tired cliche of "taking back the Constitution", and the constant ranting about our "founding principles", while glossing over some ulpleasent realities.

  • @GarlicPudding You said to me "Nowhere was it expressed or implied that the concepts of freedom or rights were obsolete."

Yet now you are telling me it is ok to ignore aspects of the constitution, because society has changed and it is outdated. Seeing how the constitution is largely a bill of rights, you are saying those rights are outdated then?

The Patriot Act shat over all your rights, they don't even need probable cause any more; they just do whatever they want.

  • @AnnoyedDragon "Yet now you are telling me it is ok to ignore aspects of the constitution, because society has changed and it is outdated. Seeing how the constitution is largely a bill of rights, you are saying those rights are outdated then?"

    No, quit twisting my words.

I never said that any part of the Constitution was outdated, sinmply that society has changed drastically since 1776.

    NEXT!

  • @GarlicPudding They shouldn't look to it because society has changed drastically since then, but you are not saying it's outdated?

That's basically the same thing! You don't think it's applicable to today because of it's age, therefore you are calling it outdated. Who's twisting words here?

Apparently America does need that old bit of paper, because it's doing a crappy job of ensuring the rights of citizens without it. If America doesn't need it to ensure rights, then what's with the mess?

  • @AnnoyedDragon For the third goddamn time, I NEVER SAID we shouldn't look to the Constitution.

Once more, this is a S A T I R E of the so called "Tea Party's" cliched ranting of "taking back the country" and other rhetoric.

  • @GarlicPudding Ok, then I'll take you out of the picture; and simply look at what is being said in the video.

The argument is that society has changed a lot since the constitution was written, in effect; suggesting that its contents are outdated. Given that it is a bill of rights, they are then saying that those rights are outdated.

Satire or not, that is the message they are sending. They compare it to being as outdated as using leaches, a bill of rights.

  • @An.

Parts of the constitution is outdated.

And that's becauseThe constitution is a living document.

If it wasn't a living document (so as to create a more better union) then there would still be slavery, women wouldn't be able to vote and whites who didn't own land couldn't vote.

The idea of the constitution was to EXPAND freedoms over time to try to improve americans lives.

Its an ongoing process that can either go forward (slavery outlawed) or backwards (jim crow, patriot act)

  • @dffykvn Regardless of what you think the constitution is and should be, it doesn't really matter in the end. The US government just ignores people's rights now.

  • LOL. Love it.

  • Yep Mark... a good example of what being an original 'strict Constitutionalist' is all-about!

  • What is all to often is pushed aside fore the sake of American mythology is; that many of those who are now revered as the founders would have been perfectly happy to remain subjects of the crown if they could be become the House of Lords over the commoners in the colonies. However that pesky Thomas Pain made a case for independence that reverberated with those merchants who would never be a part of the ruling elite.

  • My GOD Madison was right......the Factions have Arrived!!!!

  • Are you trying to poke fun at people who believe that America has veered away from important principles in the Constitution. Or are you stating that the Constitution is outdated in some way and therefore proponents of it should be disregarded for whatever number of hyperboles you have made?

  • @itbwhitey i think what hes saying is that to go back to the quote un quote old ways would be devistating because our county like its people must evolve and change so to go back to the way our country was at its founding would be devistating basically i think hes saying that these tea baggers need to think before they speak

  • @itbwhitey What he's saying is our forefathers intended the Constitution to be a LIVING document -- that changes and is amplified through time. The basic core values stay the same however.

  • @itbwhitey I'm not sure what this video is all about, seems like anti-constitution propaganda or anti freedom propaganda. There were reasons why the founding fathers structure the constitution like they did. Anyone who thinks that we have to give up all technological advances that we made just to rediscover our principles isn't really promoting freedom. Right now, we have the political elite doing whatever the F*ck they want and telling everyone else to shut up. How's that working out?

  • @rayme4raw

    exactly my thoughts.

    p.s. it's the corporate-fascism that's ruining the lives for everyone(outside the elite)

  • @HumanityWins Got that right, it's funny, I normally like his videos, where did this one come from?

  • @rayme4raw

    STFU

  • @TimmyHaag Never:)

  • america: what values and when?!?!?! Because history which is totaly unamerican told me that this country doesnt have morals. Texas did a good thing white washing history

  • @xXMrSnarkyXx your view of history was skewed they just made it more appropriate

  • @aweiss playing along or serious I'm affraid I cant tell anymore

  • Your forgeting the most important thing about owning land in order to vote, it means that not every illiterate fool can side with stealing property and your earned cash by out numbering you thats the most destructive source of evil in a democracy and lets not forget about slaves who sold them to the colonists? thats right other blacks so when you bring up this about slavery your just pissing on other blacks who sold their own neighboors and another thing why should women even vote thats dumb

  • @imperiallion huh...

  • @imperiallion Blacks selling black was not the norm in colonial America or the early USA, so U fail to make an issue out of a non issue. non-ownership of property in now mor idicative of ignorance than property ownership is indicative of intelligence. I'm guessing UR 1 to deny property owning women the right to vote because your bigotry is that glaring. A person whose wealth depends on the wage slavery of others

  • @5lkk He was talking about blacks in Africa selling black slaves to the white man. Also it is extremely unfair that those who do not pay property taxes should get to decide how high it should be. This is why a lot of states required property ownership as a prerequisite for voting so that the masses dont abuse their voting power to rob from other people like what you are seeing here in America and In Europe.

  • What's with all these fools who say "first" all the time? Is this a race?

  • first
