dictatorships, please allow me to poke some holes in your 'logic', if it may be called that. To start, Cynthia's Milotic can EASILY take out all of Lance's party SINGLE-HANDEDLY through use of ice beam and hydro pump.

As for red, By the time you get to him, your entire party has been conditioned to face him. Pikachu? Earthquake. Charizard? Rock Slide. Snorlax? Mind Reader + Sheer Cold. Blastoise & Lapras? Thunder. Venusaur? Poke it.

Cynthia's party is built to cover all of her own weaknesses.

Red's pokemon are weak and predictable. Lapras can be easily Earthquake'd out or Close-Combatted. Everything else is just a Starter pokemon. Snorlax suffers from GAR-induced death
