This is just basically Union Street area with traffic and shoppers. It's pretty boring really. The video quality is washed out and grainy, the music is depressing - never very upbeat at all.

have you read any of Diane Morgan's work? I recommend the book 'Lost Aberdeen'. Really interesting. It is part of a series of books about lost architectural heritage. There are other titles: Lost Dundee, Lost Glasgow, Lost Edinburgh. Worth a read. Also search 'Aberdeen Civic Forum'. Lots of positive stuff happening. We can ignore the needless negativity displayed by many who have left comments.
Look, I live there and its awesome, exept for the fact that there are alot of fat people and the shopping centers are FULL of elevators (Lifts) and Im terrified of them , but, I guess I have to fight my fear of elevators some day, and aberdeen is the place to do that :P

aberdeen punches weel above its weight. look at the equivalent irish, welsh and english cities of comparable size - they have nowhere near the facilities that aberdeen has. it does lack things to do for young people i think and i do not think it had the 'je ne sais quoi' that glasgow and edinburgh have. but it can be improved, easily. for a start they planning dept of the cooncil need to get a fuckin grip and stop building shite horrible buildings.

Perhaps the film is boring to you because you know the area. If you can get us some film of other areas of Aberdeen we would be most grateful. Our budget is very small. Perhaps you could show us some of your film. We are here to learn.
