  • Does security bother you on 114th??

  • Lame aircraft - lame airport.

  • l 3:36 2 planes landing

  • What camera?

  • Totals

    Frontier: 3

    Southwest: 2

American/Northwest/US Air and United: 1 each

  • I'm moving to Colorado Springs this summer, and want to do some spotting at DEN, where were you spotting at?

  • at about the 2:00 mark is that Icelandair, USA 3000 or someone else I can't think of?

  • @peakster753 Looks like United to me. Have to watch it around the 1:30 mark

  • I think Houston Intercontinetal KIAH airport has a better area for plane spotting than DIA. The planes are so close you can see the passengers through the window. As well as the pilot BEFORE touchdown. :)

  • Do the 777's or 747's come in everyday? I know the A340 comes in everyday at about 3:30 to 4:00 PM

  • Nice video.

  • Check-in and security takes forever at this airport but ones you past that nightmare its a nice airport.

  • I fly sw airlines to Denver all the time

  • @coffee1ify gross!

  • My dad works for the FAA. We did this once... Standing a about 150 feet from the end of 35L

  • Very cool!!!

  • @drcodyjones Fucking LIAR!!!!! Your dad working for the FAA has NO IMPACT ON HOW YOU CAN GET AIRSIDE. STOP FUCKING LYING YOU LITTLE PRICK ASSHOLE BITCH!!

  • @pfiscool im guessing Pena Blvd or Jeppeson terminal or concourse A

  • Ya its a great place for just watching. Also the Gliders doing rides will usually fly over the flatirons where you can see them if your at the top.

  • sorry pfiscool I probably sounded like a know-it -all asshole when i said that they usually dont fly over boulder. But ya boulder is great. i fly out of there every saturday!

  • it was probably over the rockies were the most turbulence happened

  • was it smooth or bumpy?

  • if you lived in boulder, you probably saw planes going to boulder municipal. I love boulder is such a great place

  • Who doesn't? Boulder is AWESOME!

  • Planes from DIA are rarely routed over boulder and when they are they are above 12000 feet msl.

  • In Denver there is less oxygen.

  • DIA seems terrible for plane spotting.. Stapleton was GREAT. The planes would fly 50 feet over your head to land.

  • i dnt get it denver is the largest airport in the states but yet it does not see hat much international traffic and even domestic traffic also i work at kewr and its small but sees alot of traffic newark should have had a large enough space so they can expand right now the space is limited unless hey buy out businesses in elizabeth lol well good video though mate

  • do you get heavy's at denver, because i have a flight time table for gatwick winter 2006/2007 and thomson used to do a flight once a week with a 767-300 flight number tom5694 did that exist? and do Ba do a 747 from heathrow daily ?

  • The only heavy's Denver sees is a United 747, Lufthansa A340-600 and a Boeing Triple 7 from London Heathrow.

  • When does the United 747 come?

  • Only when they are filling in for a regularly scheduled 767 or 777. Denver does get cool freight aircraft like UPS 747s and A300s, though.

  • Oh, when do those come? I would love to see a 747 in action!

  • UAL flies 777s to and from LAX also.

  • @LufthansaFlightSim I think there are 767s and 777s from United that operate various high density domestic routes in addition to the ones you mentioned

  • Were you on 114th ave or 120th ave?

  • 114th!

  • Sweet,I went there like 3 weeks ago and the guy came by and told us to leave;(

  • can you send me a link of where you go plane spotting at Denver?

Also how do you get the screen on youtube to not have the bars on the side?

  • do you have to zoom in a lot to get the landing on a camera at the spot you were at,at DIA?

  • i fly to Puerto Rico from Denver in Us Airways A321 and it was very nice!

  • Nice steady hand!

  • Thank you!

  • I Like How SOUTHWEST AIRLINES Wing LooK!

(Whrs All The BIG PLANES [747]?

    -5/5 Stars

  • Thanks for your view!

Denver International Airport gets very little International traffic. The biggest planes that come through are a Lufthansa Airbus A34-600, British Airways 777-300 and Various United and American Airlines 777-300.

  • I believe it is based on just the location of Colorado. Most traffic from the west go to SFO LAX or SEA and East JFK MIA but the middle states don't get the action. Well, DFW and DTW get some. The funny thing is that Denver can handle any type of plane, I think even the A380

  • BA and AA dont have 777-300s, your thinking about BA's 777-200ERs, and AAs 777-200s/200ERs

  • Thanks for the correction!

  • Awesome frontier dash-8 at 5:05!

  • Yes, very cool plane!
