hi! i'm having some problems with the mac lipstick please me, i really love the color but i don't know why it's really really making my lips so dry. i tried everything from using primer for lips, lip scrubbing before using it but it's still dry my lips. don't know what's the problem :(

For asian skin tone try warm color, vegas volt is really nice it makes ur yellow skin tone pop! A good coral lipstick.

Chatterbox is a perfect pinky pink lipstick for any skin tone!

@jolener high tea, fresh brew, viva glam II, honeylove, etc. check out your local mac. =) you can try all the neutral lipsticks there.

@MACupNerd if i use a matte lipstick, i make sure that i moisturize my lips prior to putting it on. prepping helps too. usually i'd put my carmex on, do my makeup, wipe off my carmex, then put on my lipstick. =)

@likehoyyy either way; soft eye look, dramatic eyes, it doesn't matter since it's a luster finish. you can make the lipstick look really soft, or really dramatic. =)

@msanjoseph anything goes, really. it all depends on how pigmented, bright, or soft you want your lips to look. =)

@msanjoseph have you tried going to a mac counter? they can help you since i'm not sure what undertone you are; they can help you a lot better, and i know that i am a mac artist, but i don't want to give general lipstick shades for you, since you're trying to find something specific along the lines of matching with your skin tone.

@yengbren not really. the lady gaga one is a luster finish, a blue- based pink, a limited edition one, and by purchasing it, you're helping out with the aids fund mac has. =) angel is a frost finish, which means you'll get more color pay-off, it's permanent, and for some, a little too pink lol. so it all depends how intense you like your lips to look.

@dijieg firstly, it all depends on what kind of finish the lipstick is that you are using. secondly, use lip primer; mac carries one. thirdly, exfoliate your lips.
