The american "middle class" never actually fucking existed. It's been a deluded illusion for decades. The way poor people pretend to be rich and important is via easy access to credit. This is why the U.S. is now fucking bankrupt: the vast majority of americans are NOT rich, never WILL be rich, but sure want to PRETEND they're fucking rich.
