The carb is stock. Never had to touch it and it has had zero problems on steep stuff or sidehills. Works fine at high altitudes, once its warmed up its like fuel injection.

yeah sierra's(samurai's) roll over but there a great little truck to start out on because there cheap to run and mod,if i got 10 bucks every time i've seen a sierra beat petrols and landcruisers in comps I'd be rich lol, great little truck .Yeah they roll over, a couple of weeks pay everything fixed again and usually when they roll over its because of the driver taking the wrong angle.

Yes, there are easier routes around everything. You can certainly do almost all of it with a stock zuk.

Don't know if there is a 'kit' for YJ and yota axles. There wasn't when I did mine.

For the yota axles you just have to adjust your spring hanger width to fit the axle perches. The yota perches are about 1.5" wider than stock zuk. Not a big problem if you are welding your own spring hangers and axle perches.

Yes go with 5.29, the pinion gear on 5.71s are too small.

Hay, What gears you running? I have a 88 and its got a 4to1 transfer case, lock rite's f/r but stock gears.

I have a6 inch spring over, rears springs on the front

with skyjacker shocks and ster. stab. Full rollcage and I want to run 35's. I have some dana 44's out of a jeep that match up with the right side. Gears need tp be 538's? Thanks, that is a cool ride and I like the cooloer hauler.

On the front I outboarded the spring hangers on the frame. On the back I had to cut off the existing axle perches and put on new ones to fix the pinion angle. It may work out different for dana 44s, toys were pretty easy to fit.

I went up there 4 wheelin 2 months ago with some other guys that had a Samurai, Wrangler, and a Dodge Raider.
