  • try KREVA or K DUB SHINE or LIBRO... ;)

  • Can anyone recommend similar sounds? Most J Hip Hop is terrible by my account... I like Rip Slyme and Teriyaki but I'm looking for this "mid-nineties East-Coast" type sound. I can't really get down with the other Soul Scream sounds that I've heard besides this one.

by the way these video seems quite old, what are they doing today?

  • @SamSemilia132321323

This song was released in 1997 and this group's not acted since 2002. Until about in 2000, Japanese hiphop culture was grown up steadily. But, then, the culture gradually declined and still does not take root in Japan cuz there are few unreasoning discrimination or absolute poor people in japan and many people recognize that Japanese hiphop just play shadow of US hiphop. It's a little bit sad.

  • @banbanvigaro Are you joking? What about Nujabes, DJ Mitsu the beats, Gagle, DJ Honda?

  • Pretty Dope!

  • i just wish the second rapper did the whole song. the first ones lisp is bk randal guts status.

  • @MrMaxtremo

2nd guy's name is E.G.G.Man. Check out more soul scream please!!

  • dope!

    but i got a question:

i bought tha A+ 90ies Japanese HipHop Classics compilation... The version on that sampler is quite different... it has the first beat of this video-version at the beginning, and a different beat on the rap-parts...

does someone know where to get that version? is it a remix?

    thx

  • @roeschtidrkiller Yo, check out 問う今日 by Soul Scream, I think that's the version you are looking for. It's actually also called Tou-kyou as well; 問う今日 is the name of the remix you were looking for, which translates to 'ask today', while the name of this song is 東京, which is Tokyo, the capital of Japan

  • @goufist Thanks, that's the version i was looking for!!! that track is so dope!

  • Comment removed

  • @goufist Sorry, but you are wrong. Both songs have the same meaning!

  • thanks love it

  • is there a tracktitle for the first song playing before actual track?
