You are quick and obviously skilled, any 1 who can ride around the nurb like that and has the balls to do so should be very proud I have been my self (car though) not on my bike.
To all the techies and nerds ,, get a bike and go do it ,, then talk over a beer or two , hope 2012 works for me , fingers crossed ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, .s.
@BeatboxNico what you may not know is that bren used to be a test rider for some of the top manufacturers. he had a huge crash and mashed up his leg but he is still an awesome rider and does some amazing times. for anyone else watching, go to sliders guest house as a base for the ring and the german roads - bren and the lads are awesome. we had a great time in aug 2011.
Yeah P3 Unlimited K7 Gsxr 600. Something like 7 mins 17 seconds ridden by Andy Carlile who held the previous unofficial record on an MV Agusta. They made a few and you could buy them cost like £20k.
the reason why is because it marks the spot were people have lost thier lives so friwends and relitives tag thier names in rememberance of there lives
Its 7:01 atm on an MV Agusta F4 R 312, ridden by Andy Carlile, set Sep 15th 2008, but Brendan here is allegdely 3rd fastest with a time 3 secs faster than this one. However if u count the whole old track and recognize that record, a guy from 1980 set a slightly faster record, being 0,3km/t faster around the track, though he used the full straight and some GP section too(22,835km version) so Andys is probably the best.
You are right, its 7:21, my bad. So i guess the 1980 racing record is clearly the fastest avg time as is. But for the modern version of B2G, its 7:21, yes.
:) but remember Barath, 7:21 is done on a bone stock MV...and that is mighty impressive! Wonder what could Andy on a modded one... ;0 Brendan did a 7:22 on a modded GSXR 600 if Im not mistaken... And that's a 600!!! You've got to give it up to these guys who have balls of steel... can't wait to see these guys break the 7 mins barrier... :)
I stayed at his place in April for a few days. Nice bloke and cooks a good breakfast. Flipping heck you aint joking about being quick. (we had the volvo 480 turbo) I hope to return in my spitfire next year.
I stayed there too, I followed him (slowly) round the ring for a couple of laps, after we had had a mental fast ride around on public roads.. he's the man alright
This is the chap (Brendan) who runs Sliders Guest House near Adenau, a guy I know. I stayed there in the past, Bren is always at the Ring living his perfect life :)
You may have seen Bren chatting Clarkson on the Sabine Video...I was there also that weekend in the Smart Roadster but sadly didn't get on the film!
Bren fell off shortly after this video and nearly killed himself for the 20th time, luckily Brens head is made of wood so its quite hard to harm the guy..:)
