C5 ZO6 VETTE WITH T-REX CAM IDLING

Trying to figure out if I should go with this cam or the MS4 cam in my 01 Z06... Want to make atleast 440 rwhp without touching the heads or intake and maybe 475 rwhp with a fast and ported heads....

@acres90 well you need injectors, timing set, oil pump, full exhaust(headers and cat-back.) cam locks retainers, springs and a good tune. i just cammed a 99 c5 plus heads and it cost my buddy about six grand. 4 minus the heads

Is this cam bigger than a g5x3 cam. I want to put the biggest cam in my car.

@tayman1975 The T-rex is considered a little bit bigger and more aggressive (radical) due to the lobe separation. The T-rex has been known to make more power and it's the biggest cam you can install without having to fly cut the pistons... it's just a little harder to tune.

How is the pvc with a cam this size?lookin to get 1 but dont have money to fix my engine if it hits the valve....and this cam sounds sweet with the flowmasters.

@mdr1990 the PCV is no problem at all. Just make sure you have factory heads that have not been milled and you shouldn't have any problems with the valves hitting the pistons,post a video when you've got done I'll check it out.

I haven't put it on the dyno yet but it should put 450 to the wheels. That would be a good choice for your car that's one of the best cams around.
