Even 20 years after the fact, Kroger still backs the Buckeyes. Now its just Thad Matta insted of Gary Williams. The Buckeyes are a good team, but OSU is lacking as a school. If you have the chance to pass it up please do. There are better places to earn a degree.

Well obviously there are better schools than OSU, but they are getting better. hell, you can say there are better places to go than Virginia and you would be telling the truth too. Ohio State is not as lacking as what many, especially rival sports fans seem to think.

It all depends on what you want in a school. If you want all your classmates to have 1500+ SAT scores and be radical morons, go to Brown. If you want the most major choices of any school in the country, go to Ohio State.

Ohio State has made a great deal of improvement in the last 10-12 years. They've climbed the rankings academically and continue to do so. Believe it or not, they're ranked higher than Brown (referenced below) now according to the "Academic Ranking of World Universities".
