Bipolar Disorder is actually having a dual expereince in life through the looking glass. Transference is a time machine. People that actually have a spiritual awakening through the looking glass can go through Shamanism,Alchemy,Kundalini,Dark Night of The Soul. If people studied Lewis Carrols work they would understand time. The facts are psychiatry has brain washed people into the medical model.
@Alchemy0109 We can all have our Mad Hatter,Alice, and white rabbit experiences. Jung connected Through The Looking Glass to mass conciousness. If we looked at Alice In Wonderland as a cosmic event we would see that Alice was on The Heros Journey down the Rabbit Hole. It is a shame that psychiatry has befuddled people into beleiving in medications rather than what R.D Laing called Knots.
I am SO happy to find this video! I am Bipolar and I have been suffering with this very issue. But I just thought it was me. Lately...I'm moving too slow for the rest of the world. It's affecting my job.
How do I conquer this? Watches tend to drive me insane bc they seem to slow the world down. So I never buy them.
its almost like one was going back and forth from certain heavenly and very dark, higher and lower vibrational levels. in heaven there is no concept of time, ya i am a bipolar schitzo psychonaut and i realized very early on that the laws of physics arent exactly set in stone the way people think they are. there is a piece of reality in all of us so we can manipulate that reality, you are bitchslapping reality and im totally cheering you on, im doin the sane damn thing i just use different words
Just think, a bipolar person in manic episode, using Salvia every day for 3 months! I did that and thought I was able to step in between slivers of time and bend time like plastic. I thought I destroyed the world a few times and laughed histerically about it. I was god, several times. Salvia and bipolar don't mix. What a crazy few months!
I was diagnosed recently. Type II - rapid cycling.
This is absolute truth!
At times, I would scream at coworkers to keep up with me and my thoughts.. . a thousand ideas at once, . doing other people's jobs. .
other times, I would need to be reminded to fill in office forms . remindedagain and again. . just a minute. ,. almost done. . oh, yea , the form . . got it! almost done. . .
You guys are weird, I never even noticed his "smacking" until I read the comments. This guy is an expert and published author on the subject of bipolar disorder; his own illness. Show some respect!
I have to agree with 'blahblahblahman'!i not only didnt notice his 'smacking' but dn't even know (or care!)what it is!I also fail to understand why this guy isn't getting any respect!? He is a sufferer AND an expert and SHOULD therefore be shown some respect!it made sense to me too,as im also a manic deppressive and feel like my life is 'groundhog YEAR'!V.I.C
I've had to watch this video three times so far. I am amazed to see a video that really shows how time is for me (and explains it).
I never knew it was a part of my Bipolar! The time going by but only seeming so short to me. It explains a lot and gives me comfort to know it's not just something stupid or even bad about me (I've often been told off for zoneing out of the real time) it is a part of my disorder. You have made me feel so much better about myself, thank you.
i feel exactly like you!youre not alone!i was diagnosed 'clinical Depression'at 21(12 yrs ago!!)and over the years i started thinking it seemed more like 'manic depression'but seen hundreds doctors and several phsyciatrists and theyre all useless and never diagnose right!i thought i was going nuts with the time thing is nice to know im not-good luck 4 the future to all sufferers,Vicky
@dickvandyke76 ya those psychiatrists and their useless profession, they wont diagnose you as bipolar unless you go to a hospital from a severe mental breakdown.. once you are diagnosed with bipolar you qualify for ssi so not as many people are going to get diagnosed, psychiatrists should be seen as what they are, misinformed sociopaths.
Being 18 and bipolar I find it difficult to try and explain to my peers what it is without coming off as crazy, this is the best explanation yet. My favorite part as how you put a spin on it, it comes off as both a gift and a burden instead of just a disease.
Hi, occultpriestess. Very good question. Bipolar feeds on our negative emotions, bad memories, etc, so if we work on minimizing these the beast will go hungry. But clearing is never permanent - the bad stuff always comes back. I'm a big fan of mindfulness, which is effective for working on the bad stuff before it gets out of control, but this takes a highly disciplined mind. Anyway, you got me thinking ...
Wonderful- I went through a "spiritual emergence" labeled bi-polar by the Dr's. I "snapped" out of it, and never went "crazy" again- though I learned a lot through my awakening.
Do you Think- if you clear out the "bad thoughts, bad memories and negative emotion" that you will never feel that slow, out of sync, "world against me" phase of the bi-polar?
Thank you, I always did my best to describe my diorder as being inbetween dementions! you helped elaborate my feelings! the best part is that others view us as "out of sinc with the rest of the world" BRILLIANT my days have been rough. but that is how I found myself here so it can't all be bad?

@lookinguptothestars rule of thumb, speed time up in some places, it will slow down at others
