"The Shining" is the only movie that I can actually recite word for word from beginning to end. When I first saw it at 7 0r 8 years old I was struck with fascination. You should go to the actual hotel, the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, that inspired the novel and movie. I've never been, but would want to go. Other famous haunted Colorado locations include the Briarhurst Mansion and Redstone Castle.
