  • not to be meen but jeff is not is good as you at making videos

  • Hey can I install a faster and bigger motor on this kit I am looking for some insane speed. thanks, alfie

  • Great video nightflyyer and such a good pilot thanks so much for your reviews

  • I've never used a hot glue gun for models before... i've heard lots of people have... I have begun using 5minute epoxy and it has worked great for me... I am really curious about hot glue though... it seems to work great for you guys, and is a less expensive option. I might try it soon!

  • All you need is some buzzards or pidgions to chase.

  • thats a pretty sweet plane.

  • nice!

  • hey dave when are you going to do a rebuild video on the slow stick you got hanging in the garage there thanks ed

  • do u just use hot glue to put it together?

  • yep

  • what's a aerial

  • doesn't this have re-tracks.

  • not stock but you can install your own

  • not this one.

  • such a nice video.. well could anyone please tell me how can i change internal fan for F5 E.

i have broken fan on my new F5 E..

  • Well I had a blade fly apart on my F22 today and had to hold the old fan with Channel lock pliers to remove the shaft nut.. There is a screw cap on the end of mine that came off first with a little cover that has the nut under it. Hope that helps.

  • Great vidoes really enjoy them.! Back in the hobby after about 20 yrs. have been getting skills back with some old gliders of mine plus a firebird phantom ( based on your review). Enjoyed your Pitts video- Really wanted one of those Byron original kits back when iIstarted ! Cant beleive its "vintage " now. Really want an easy to fly edf jet though ( new electrics really change everything).. any reccomendations ?

keep up the good work !

  • Well I am happy your getting back. Improvements in equipment and models is amazing these Days. If you are an accomplished pilot, the EF 2000 has rudder and flies nice and slow too. But I always say, learn on a VW, and if you never crash, then get the Porsche. For all out fun and great control, is the Hobbyzone T-28, and for hotrod fun, the Firebird Phantom for $55 is really a blast to warm up on. Good luck, and thanks for the kind words.

  • What is a VW?

  • VolksWagon. (Super Cub, Cessna Centuran, Firebird Phantom, etc.)

  • Oh, i passed those a LONG time ago. Moving on to 7 channels now.

  • Wow, you have the best video reviews ever! I've been interested in joining the Air Force one day to fly airplanes like that. I have never flown an RC plane or helicopter. May I ask for what is recommended for a ducted RC aircraft for beginners? Thank you, your videos are really awesome!

  • I would not learn on a Ducted Fan Jet. Learn on a VW and if yo unever crash it, then you can get the Porsche.

Start with a Firebird Phantom, or Super Cub. You will love the AirForce. Good luck.Dave

  • nice

  • Thanks much.

  • as i am only in to RC cars at the moment that looks like some awesome fun and well rounded flying by your novice pilot. well done

  • Thanks kindly.

  • That's one cool video that was funny when you gave it to him and then took it back lmao and he can Fly a Plane real good did you Teach him how to Fly Them????

  • Thanks kindly. Yes, I have worked with Jeff for 2 years now and he has become a good pilot.

  • cool

  • Loks like that F-4E can even coast a little while with the power cut.

  • Yeah, not far though, because it has no momentum being so light, but still will do a nice job on a calm day of gliding.

  • is the plural for goos geeses or gees

  • Yes.

  • Well done guys. Just found you guys. I'm in the UK just bought the Parkzone F4U Corsair and going out for it's maiden flight tomorrow or Sunday. Can't wait. Will also be taking my Century Neon Blaze Cp Heli with me. Am really struggling with it at the mo and can't find any tips on it.

  • Good luck with your new Corsair. It's the same setup, motor, and everything as my Parkzone T-28 Trojan. Pretty much the same aircraft with a different look. Certainly a lot of fun to fly. I have a couple vids of it on my channel if you'd like to check them out.

    Jeff

  • No Offense taken. Good by.

  • hey dave great joke nice flying jeff

  • Great Job guys. I got my new servo and getting ready to fly mine soon. Can not get over how we both had the same bad servo on this plane. Nirto planes did a great job of making it right. Keep up the good work . great job with the sticks Jeff 5 stars.

  • Thanks Greg. Yep Strange Coincidence. Glad they fixed you up right away.

  • Thanks for the compliment Greg. I hope yours flies just as well as this one. It's definitely fast!!!

  • I wanna one of this too... lol .. Thanks Dave. Nice video. Very funny.

  • Thanks kindly.

  • We need Jeff back on the camera...that`s his niche... also Jeff has a face for radio... only joking.

    Another great Vid yet again....

  • Thanks kindly.

  • i feel sorry for jeff, he looks so sad at 3:12

  • LOL.

  • Thanks for helping me out with the messages on this one Jeff. I appreciate it. Wait till you see the Jet Squadron video I'm uploading right now... 9 jets in 3 hours. It is exciting as you know.

  • ok i just gotta say (again) this video was really humorous and educational (in a good way) and jeff, you are just like me. i rarely use epoxy of something like that i ALWAYS use a glue gun :-D

i didnt get one part though, is this jeffs plane now or not?

  • When I first started flying I used to use epoxy all the time until I realized how much faster and easier it was to use a glue gun. And Yes, I get to keep the jet. Isn't that nice of him? I sure think so! Thanks for your comment.

    Jeff

  • I laughed my butt off when you said you were keeping the plane and not giving it to Jeff, hahaha. That's nice of you to give the plane to Jeff to review, gives you a break :-) Great work Jeff :-)

  • Thank you very much. It was a lot of fun to put together and even more fun to fly.

  • Thanks kindly. Jeff deserves it.

  • Yay, Patrouille Suisse :P

  • look sky chemtrials

  • Good Job Jeff! I'm glad you lost the red tablecloth! All the red was making my head spin! The cameraman was a little off though. :)

  • You got something against my wife's tablecloth??? (just kidding) You're very observant. Not many people would notice that little detail. Thanks for the compliment.

    Jeff

  • NICE jeff and dave just a small version of mine i cant wait to fly it hope mine flies like this one again thanks dave and jeff .

  • Thanks and good luck with it.

  • that was mean joke. but the rest is awsome

  • What's going on with the airfield??? Seems that there are a few more houses there now.

  • The wind was out of the west, so we're on the east/west street rather than the north/south. Same airfield. Different runway.

  • Good job! Appears to have very good low speed stability. I like this one!

  • maybe low speed for an EDF, but its very hard to fly an EDF tip stalling it, in this video Jeff did a geat job, he mkaes it look easier then it is

  • dave i beleive its geese for plural and goose for one, im not trying to be rude but i am just telling you :) and great job jeff!

  • If plural of goose is geese, then why isn't the plural of moose meese? Also, if the plural of mouse is mice, then why isn't the plural of house hice? Hmmmm. lol

Thank you also for the compliment.

    Jeff

  • i know, its a very wierd language that we speak, Great Job BTW~!

  • Of course I know that, Actually it is a Gaggle of geese to be really correct.

  • LOL WHERE YOU GOING??"home" HAHHHAAHAH ROFL WAY TO GO DAVE!!!!

  • Haha. Thanks man.

  • I give it an "atta boy Jeff" !

  • Thank you kindly.

    Jeff

  • If stick your bottom lip out like that a bird is going to crap on it!! Good vid, nice plane. I'm going to have to get into this stuff before you get too advanced Jeff. Where do I find a quality, reasonably priced training sim with transmitter for my computer?

  • Clearview simulator is cheap and fun, Get the esky sim tx to work with it.

  • if your ever in australia Dave/Jeff ill be a novice test pilot/crash tester LOL. another great vid

  • Thanks. Ill call you when we get there. LOL.

  • Great review Jeff, that thing looks like its got some serious power!!

  • Plenty! I don't think I'd want it to go much faster than it already does. It's hard to keep track of the way it is. Thanks for your comment.

    Jeff

  • You should give away one of your old planes :D

  • I dont know what you mean by old? Those old ones of mine are really old and vintage these daysl LOL. These are still new to me. LOL

  • awsome

  • Thanks.

  • Do you get to keep the plane after you tested it.

  • I gave it to Jeff and he gets to keep it.

  • Nice one guys! Jeff, great build and excellent flying. Very nice.

  • Thank you very much.

    Jeff

  • Jeff, you are an insanely great pilot! That was some awesome flying for the first flight!

  • Thank you very much for the great compliment. This jet is also insanely fun to fly.

  • awesome fling and video guys!

  • Thanks.,

  • This is a perfect plane for a smoke trail....

  • go jeff! nice flying.

  • Hey Jeff good job! Now teach Dave that focus thing that you do! ;-D

  • Haha Thanks I wish I could shut off that dang autofocus for sure too.

  • Great video guys. Jeff, excellent job on the sticks. Glad to see the boss is giving you the opportunity to actually learn these things, it was all trial and error when I got into the hobby lol.... Keep up the good work man:) 5/5

  • Thanks for the compliment ssrc30. Dave is a pretty good teacher. If it wasn't for him, I'm sure this jet would be in several itty bitty pieces.

  • It looks like its a little tough to fly this one, I bet it woulda been in pieces if it was me flying lol

  • Thanks very kindly.

  • way to go, jeff!

    you're hardly a novice...that landing looked fantastic.

  • Thank you very much for the compliment.

  • He has become a very good pilot, for sure.

  • those are pretty small wings

  • Very, but it's surprisingly stable for such small wings.

  • great looking jet Jeff, the built is well done and nice flying there ! Keep up the good work Jeff and Dave.

  • Thank you kindly beverke7.

  • Thank you sir.

  • way to go jeff! you are learning quite fast young grasshopper. dave you are a very good friend to do the things yo do for jeff. he is very fortunate to have a friend like you. keep up the great work guys.

    scott

  • Thank you for the compliment. Dave is an excellent friend, teacher, and mentor. I'm fortunate to live just a stones throw away from him. He's a pretty good card.

    Jeff

  • Thanks kindly. Jeff is a good guy for sure.

  • SO BUYING 1 !!!

  • You won't be disappointed!

  • Yea!

  • LOL!

  • Nice video guys, I just got a F-5E too. Flys very nice, took a video flying it, but my wife could not keep up with camera, so I did not post the vid, but you can see it on my tailgate in my F-35 video

  • Beautiful Jet! Looks like a keeper. I was always told to use 30min epoxy when putting together an airframe. Is that a special type of glue for the glue gun or is regular glue gun glue? The lego man was a nice touch! Good job both of you!

  • As far as i am aware its just regular gun glue, it will be fine for these sort of models though as long as you dont do anything like leave it in the back of a hot car in the sun.

  • Just regular glue gun glue. It works just as good if not better than any epoxy or foam safe superglue. It's just what I prefer. And thanks for the comment on my legoman. :-)

    Jeff

  • You two work well together, watching you 2 really reminds me of when i learnt to fly! I had an instructor teach me to fly much like yourself who had been flying planes for years before RC and i picked it up real quick like jeff aswell :D

Keep on making the great vids, its a great partnership you got there!

  • Thank you for your compliment. Much appreciated.

    Jeff

  • Thanks kindly. Jeff is a great flying partner and friend for sure.

  • jeff is such a noob jk lol great video that was nice of ya

  • In years he is, but he has learned quick, in my book.

  • im still a noobie compared to jeff lol ive learned alot from your videos

  • Thanks much. Keep practicing.

  • quality Jet! and brilliant flying Jeff!

I think it's time we stop calling Jeff a 'Novice Pilot'. Good Work once again Dave&Jeff!

  • Thank you very much 14cyproit14. Receiving this jet from Dave and have the opportunity to build and fly this thing literally bring tears of joy to my eyes, and it flies every bit as I expected it would. Thanks for your comment.
