I've been reading some reviews of Iron Man 2, and they all seem to be upset at the same thing: Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Samuel L. Jackson gave Marvel Comics the permission to design Ultimate Nick Fury after his likenes. Pretty obvious he would "reprise his role" in the future.

I did but I found my self expecting more, I mean after the first one you got to see a peak at a new character and how he looks ( kinda upset that they used the ultimate/black Nick Fury but whatever) and a sense of whats to come but with this all you got to see was the Mjolnir ( Thor's hammer ) and how it looks and come on who didnt already know that Thor was coming up? I at least wanted to see the costume and how Chris Hemsworth looked as Thor

I liked it but like you said the fighting scenes were short and the talking/emotion scenes were way too long. I guess they knew exactly what the critics liked because they're giving it rave reviews on it's dialog and story telling.

i have a totally mixed review, its really good at first, but to me, the ending for the first and second both werent good, so id say they are about the same in build up, so its a tie... but if i really had to pick one, iron man 2 because i didnt get bored half way through the movie like i did in the first one. Hey genius, when amazingly overpowered beings fight it lasts seconds. This isnt boxing, they are fighting for their lives. I think you missed the amazing depth of backup development plot for the avengers, not to mention seeing scarlet johansen as the black widow kicking ass... that was super hawt.

Iron man 2 was literally twice as good as the first, because it really feels like it was building on the first, not some stand alone.
