  • He has A lot to sing about. AMAZING

  • Amazing song, and amazing singer. I can remember listening to Randy Travis when I was a kid and still enjoy his music.

  • I love his voice(: I'm 19 & my mom always used to listen to this song when I was waaaaay younger, so I love this song so much!

  • my gf loves him :)

  • THANK YOU...!!!!!....Randy Travis....For One of the most Beautiful Songs Ever Written....Your Voice is PERFECT!!!!!!!!!

  • Still sounding good Randy!! Love all your music!! Keep on keeping on baby!!

  • Randy Travis is simply amazing! I too love his music

  • Can't we just appreciate how awesome Randy Travis' voice is in this song, rather then argue religion? Please?

  • randy travis is a very good singer i love his music

  • I simply want to Thank you tube, for making this old timie music available to me Thanks Giving

  • Singing this song when he is an old man himself, adds a sweet taste of poetry to it. It really makes the message feel real when he's still singing this song 22 years later.

  • love him

  • Listen to the song "Beauty Turned Ugly" by Kaz Piech!

  • Oh now, I didn't know that. I love Randy Travis.

  • Go RanDy I LOVE YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hell iv been listening to his music for years he is the best i love his music he reminds me of my uncle dale lane he died a few years back i miss him he was a preacher a very good person he loved everyone stranger or not he was full of life

  • Randy Travis is a Legend in my book!

  • damn i didnt know he had lyme disease

  • Maybe alot of so-called singers should be lucky enough to get Lyme's disease to sound that good!! NOT really--wouldn't wish it on anyone! But he's got a beautiful voice, even if there's a flaw here or there! I think he seems like a sweet, kinda shy guy! He does country very well, + gospel, too!

  • He still sounds good too me.He must have done alright that crowd loved him!

  • this song gets me choked up everytime i hear it! classic

  • This one goes way back. I actually saw him at The Peninsula summer of '95ish, He was by the elevator, never said hello but respect his career very much.

  • Thanks for posting. Randy has not been on top lately vocally. He had the issue with Lyme Disease.....it's so terrible to see a legend such as he go through this. He is not to be judged by his current performances, but by the many many years or masterpieces he gave us without a blunder.

  • @collinrayefan is that the truth with him having lyme disease?

  • @999Thip Sure is, unfortunately.

  • @collinrayefan thank you, i hope his faith in god is strong..

  • @999Thip Lol religious people make me laugh.

  • @doughboycod2 you got that wrong my friend,

you plan your life, and god laughs.

  • @doughboycod2 that is disgusting to even talk about god in such a manner my life isnt great but i thank god everyday that i lived to see another day

  • @haloreacher1231 That is just like your opinion, man.

  • @doughboycod2 have fun in hell! I'm sure you'll have a good time. :) I'll wave to you while you're down there bud. Happy Trails.

  • @geetar76 I will see you there with me :D. Isn't Jesus the guy that said you shall not judge others or burn in Hell?

  • @doughboycod2 well, see i'm not judging, but i'm fairly certain that you're not very good at debating, because i don't know too many people that quote someone they don't think is real.

  • @geetar76 You aren't good at detecting sarcasm. Furthermore, I am not denying that Jesus Christ existed. I am just denying that he is the son of God. He was just a relaxed socialist living in the Roman Empire.

  • You know you have a hit when people still coment on the song so frequently amazing song!:)

  • you have to be crazy not to love this song and anything this man does

  • @cbaile17 Agree!

  • Love your music and every lyric of your songs - don't ever stop singing!!!!!!

  • A Little Love Song Now & Then Never Hurtcha.

    ENJOY!!!!

    2 Thessalonians 3:3

    But the Lord is faithful,

and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.

  • I have to say, I am a black guy and I love this guy! he is one of my favorite voices to listen to!

  • He has lyme disease and it greatly affects his voice, whoever wants to know. Nevertheless, he is a great singer and always will be.

  • I don't blame Randy for divorci his

I don't blame Randy for divorcing his wife who is 19 yrs older than him and

finding a woman his age.he has made a millionar out of his ex wife

  • We can do no wrong here! It is Pure Country. Amen.

  • It doesn't get any more country than his voice. He has just the right combination of accent and pitch.

  • i told my girlfriend that this song reminded me of her and she smiled :)

  • I read that Randy divorced his wife Lib and is going to marry a

woman in Texas his own age.

  • are some arses having a go at him for his voice? hell ... he's doing well to sound as good as this at his age, especially as a baritone ... dunno about the arses (and frankly, i don't care) but i've enjoyed this performance!

    go Randy!

  • Can any one tell me if Randy Travis is still married to his first wife who is

    much older than him ?

  • I love this song! :)

  • katarina kmetova if you read this write to me i miss you

i love this song because of you i miss you ramzy.salam rogy

  • dont know why but i went from listining to down on me to this... lol great songs

  • RANDY RULES!!!

  • This is what country music should be.

  • Randy Travis has been one of my favorite singers for years.E. L.

  • He just gets better and better as he grow older :o)

  • looveeee itt ♥

  • haha i aint relly a bibcal or godly person but got to love an old western bible loving man like this

  • I think I have convinced my old & current flame that it really is only 6 weeks since I saw him last. You're coming around to my way of thinking! -3. Serious about W.G.? Am I supposed to go there? I need help in getting someone here to believe me - still ready to commit.

  • did he steal this song from peggy hill? lol

  • I really like randy travis but if he;s a devout Christian he's obviously not been living like one - he looks and sounds pretty fucked on this showing. Takes a lotta booze n' drugs to get that hoarse! Still a classic though

  • @thebadloser Either you are wrong or you were screw up! This is our Randy Travis from North Carolina. You put on 100's of concerts like he did then. Per this episode, he had just flew directly in to do this show and he just got through with a concert in California, the evening before. So before you say something Stupid, check your facts!

  • @thebadloser

Or it could because he had a severe case of Lyme Disease that really affected his voice, and to top it all off he had a show the previous day to this...

  • awesome

  • beautiful ...... thanks

  • yeah...always liked him!!

  • Saw Randy at Castlebar in Ireland last year - wow is all I can say!

  • my uncle wrote this song for him.

  • After all these years I still love him had a crush on him since I was 6

  • Love your music mr.Travis

  • i don't really like country music but this song sung by randy travis has to be up there as one of the best love songs ever.

  • I seen Randy sing this song at our new casino here in New Brunswick, Canada... I had longed for years to see him.. and I got my chance.......It was the best night of my life, to finally hear him sing.......got his autograph and shake his hand. and to see him wave at me.. now that was a thrill..........I will never forget that night, I cannot travel due to health issues, but I did it so I would not regret it..........I thank God for making it to see him... :)

  • For those making mean remarks, Randy was sick at the time with Lyme Disease, which affected his muscular system including his vocal cords. So give him a break! Go look up the some other vids of his and you'll see how absolutely gorgeous his voice is and why he is a beloved country singer.

  • Randy Travis is one of the most influential country and western singers of all times, he really is up there with the greatest names like Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Jim Reeves, Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline. You cannot beat the good old country and western music.

  • love this song

  • A great song Randy....

  • my grampa died in 2006 and we played this song at his funeral and it makes me think of him everday and all the good times and recently my aunt died at age 45 and they played this song at her funeral and it made me smile knowing she is with her dad listening to this song :)

  • @jakejohnson88 nothing like music can make someone feel so good. Here recently I had an aunt pass away and we played a song which we also played at my dads funeral so I know where you are coming from.

  • Randy is the Best

  • those 9 hit the wrong button

  • i know this song only from street military "anthem",the voice of travis is unbelieveable, greetz out germany

  • why does everyone say that those who dislike a song have no ears? I happen to love this song, but aren't people entitled to their opinions? stop dissing people who happen to have different taste than you. seriously.

  • im gonna love you forever and ever amen me and my woman love this song love you babe thats 4 yvonne boydell

  • i guess the 9 people currently who "disliked" don't have ears. the man is probably one of the best country singers that ever lived. sure, here the voice was a little shaky at times but he's getting on in age so it happens. he's still great.

  • Who is his steel player?

  • I never got much into country until the early 1990s, when I first heard Travis and Trisha Yearwood. They helped me to appreciate this genre of American music. I've enjoyed a lot of it ever since:)

  • Im a painter and decorator, I bring my ipod to work every day and sing along to this song while rolling walls................ love Randy Travis makes me smile all day .... must learn the words thou....!

  • randy travis has always been one of my favs ! i had no idea he had any health problems, this breaks my heart so much ! he will always awesome to me !

  • Randy was battling Lyme Disease and it affected his muscles including his vocal cords. That's why he sounded different. He's still awesome though!

  • you can never get to much of the old country kind of music its what made country music

  • All he has to do is smile. I've met him. He's kinda shy, but get him talking about his horses and you can't shut him up! (Like I would want him to). As far as his voice, when people get older, their voices drop in key. It's hard to sing songs in their old key!

  • i really love randy travis. and his voice has only gotten better over the years

  • Randy smokes Josh

  • He mite have struggled a bit at times but that amazing voice is still their! Great song!

  • What a voice, the best. He is a legend.

  • Randy frequently suffers from allergies . . . I think this may have been one of those times, but he still sounds great and he is still going as strong as ever. Truly a legend.

  • Beautiful love song, that i enjoy hearing Randy Travis sing.

  • great!love it!!!!!

  • Oh, how great, wish we could have more REAL country songs such as this one on TV and radio!!!!

  • Randy is wonderwul. He looks humble and gentle always .I love the guy.

  • For most guys his age Randy is actually in very good shape. He voice does somewhat on the tired side, but, solid for the most part. This song has become a classic and has been used at many social gatherings.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT MAN!! true country legend

  • This hurt me to watch, and I'm about as big of a Randy fan that there is !!! ( they say time takes it's tole of a body............. " I think it's taken it's tole on his voice" !!! )

  • @kirkslastbid Go see Randy in concert! This video does not do justice to Randy!!! He must of been sick cause I saw Randy March of 2010 and he sounded just like always.....GREAT!!!!!

  • he seriously was acting coked out in this video. he didnt look like he really wanted to be there

  • Comment removed

  • Randy is a devout Christian that really shows the love of God in his life. What an awesome witness of what Christ can do in ones life.

  • @paulbortolazzo that is so tru all you have to do is believe

  • Randy Travis was part of the last fine country artists, many of today have took the "country" out of the music.

    A fine love song!

  • I love that song!!! Andi think he has a cute smile!! lol

  • This music is great, I listened to this music constantly with my uncle, and what fun memories.

  • BABYGIRL I LOVE U,,victoria i always feel your heart beating even when your away

  • great

  • he sounds really good in concert

  • First of all D. Yoakum had some decent material in his career. But having said that he can't carry Randy's guitar case as far as traditional country singers go.Randy was the George Jones of our time 80s,90s and even now. Randy can do things with his voice that most people can't.I understand you have your opinion, but your wrong.

  • What a bunch of morons!!! Arguing about a couple of singers. Idiots. Dwight yokum looks like he needs a bath anyway.

  • MY baby dedicated this song to me and told me he was savin this song for his wife I can't wait to be his wife ....... Ooooh baby I will indeed love you back forever and ever AMEN and then some more.. I LOVE U BABY!!!

  • however says this a trainwreck is a moron. this is classic!

  • lymes. damn pitty.

  • @nsra1933

Dude, he was great before and is still good. He got Lyme disease, and he couldn't control that. Could you? Some people loose most of their voice, he was lucky. He just has to be careful with his range and he sounds good, especially on his latest album.

  • Dude, Look its my opinion ok? I have a right to say that here just like you have a right to say yours. I'm not say a word about his voice here, or his so called lymes. I mearly stated that I believe Dwight Yoakum was and is more talented than Randy. I know that opinion is not going to be a popular one on this video but that's ok too.

  • Its a very immature opinion. I am sure Dwight would never say such a thing and wouldn't respect you at all for saying that. But he has class thats the difference. It's nice you still come check out Randys videos just to put him down. Maybe you should try to get a life or watch things you enjoy instead and comment on them.

  • Who cares. Whether you like it or not, Randy Travis is at least true country just as much as Dwight. I believe both Randy and Dwight are great in their own style and ways and were among some of the greatest artists in country music. Dwight has goods and bads to him, and Randy has goods and bad to him. Every artist does.

  • trainwreck,give it a rest!!

  • something tells me this isn't Tiger Wood's tribute to his wife....

  • This sounds like a train wreck !!!

  • if anyone is looking for a good cover of this and three wooden crosses listen to James Dupre !!

  • i love Randy and his voice may not be at its best but it was still great!
