I really enjoy this stuff, if you guys like chord chemistry you might like this book called Mel bay's complete book of harmony, theory & voicing by Brett willmott. The book is used as a text book at Berklee where Brett teaches. I enjoyed chord chemistry but I notices it's based off the CAGED system and I wanted things a little more organized for my brain. Bretts book uses "drop 2" (horn voicings) as the basis for his chord book. In reality his book is a mishmash of material taught for horns and

so much good things that i can't understand! when i read everyone talking about G7 and circle of pitt (XD) i say to my self that i should really learn music theory just to understand this guy stuff :p

I put this in the last video as well. Ted talks about changing I vi ii V (Fmaj7 Dm7 Gm C7) making the ii dominant G7. you can make each chord dom7 F7 D7 G7 C7 then tritone sub the D7 to Ab7 and G to Gb so you have F7 Ab7 G7 Gb7 for chromatic motion. Later he talks about tritone sub of D7#9 with Ab13 replacing D bass with Ab.

Wow, what a intimate glimpse into this man's life. I just found out what legacy this guy has left us and my heart goes out to him. What a gentle soul. Great insight on these lessons, thank you very much for posting.
