Hi. have the Imac 8,1 (22 inch?) with version 10.5.8 (2.8 GHz intel core duo and 2GB ram. I'm editing with Final cut express 4, and burning in Idvd.

I was doing parties, etc. Which one will be the most recommendable camera HD with external memory -no hard drive- with a budget $700 to $1500 (external mics input included of course) for FCP express 4?. Can I use a blue ray on FCP express 4 or in this Mac and have HD with chapters?.

Thanks for the tutorial. I have a couple questions. Can LiveType be used to create different text elements doing different things on screen at the same time? I want to create a 'terminator effect' with lots of different data updating constantly all over the screen and overlay it on the video, I don't know if Final Cut Express is robust enough to do this.
