@Occhiodiargento Sí es malo, Es decir, comparado con personajes como metaknight, snake, o falco. Lo digo yo, que uso a Ike como personaje principal, y hago llorar a metaknights, y a todos los demás. Hey, y no soy un dios pero soy bastante bueno.

Es cierto, es cuestión de saber usarlo, hay que calcular el golpe en el momento exacto y es mejor aún, puede matar al 40% a los personajes ligeros en mundos pequeños. Pero si fallas un golpe... Ahi mueres. (contra un jugador pro, claro.)

When you were edge gaurding and you used Up special ( up+b) at 0:36-0:42, Mario could have easily used his F.L.U.D.D to knock you back and go straight down. Moves like that shouldn't be used around: Mario, Squirtle, Link, and Toon Link. (maybe Mr.G&W)

No, I think we're just used to his American voice so the Japanese one is like a new twist. Meanwhile if you think about it the other way around, the Japanese are like "wth, this guy has the deepest voice I've ever heard." Ike has one of the coolest voices in the game IMO (especially when he yells when you do Aether).

Alot of newbies use Ike because he's really over-hyped for some unkown reason, basically, whenever I'm fighting against some stupid 12 year old, he just spams Aether all day, and eventually loses to just about anyone with half a brain.

Aether is easy to counter. But Ike can be powerful, It's like Warlock puch or falcon punch. Ike's powerful and you see him coming, but if you set it up right, you CAN'T dodge. I use Ike, Snake, Link, and every now and then I use Shiek. So when I say this, I mean it: Each character corrosponds to a style. Ike needs to be well-planned, snake needs to use explosives and mines, detonators, rockets, etc to make a trap. Shiek is hit and run, but link is DEADLY if you string together a combo.

it was eruption, sorry, and if they are below eruption they arent hit down they go up (pretty high) and is good to kill someone that wants to keep hitting u in air, and u can land eruption pretty easy when u are in air because in ground is easy to dodge, and well i know how to use it well because i cant time counter (down B) with ike only with marth because with him it works in the momente with ike u need to let pass like 1 or 2 seconds

Ike's down+B is the counter, neutral B is his eruption which i already knew the name but i dont see how either one could be use as a meteor smash

Anyways the eruption spike only works if an opponent is somewhere beneath the attack when Ike stabs he's sword.

Usually the RISING FLAMES of the attack knocks the enemy up, but in the above mentioned scenario their knocked down.

So if their below eruption their knocked down and if their to the side or above their knocked up.

I dont know what's its called, like a reverse grab? You can do this with Link too, run forward, press back and B and he should turn around instantly shooting an arrow. You can also do the same with his Up+B on the ground. Not that it really matters considering his UP+B on the ground is used for hits behind and in front of him.

It's great if you wanna have a style to it though :D

The poster never came back to post what he's trying to do so I'll try to explain some things.

0:04 to 0:10 shows Ike's "no" recovery time after a whiffed side+B

0:29 looks like a good recovery technique for jumpers.

0:35 to 0:31 is a good attack and hide technique, pretty much, a good way to cover yourself for edge guards

0:45 to 0:50 is a pivot bair. Pivot right before you jump, back air, fast, powerful, useful.

0:58 to 1:09 pivot grab and combo.

Besides, the lag of Ikes smash most definetly balances out the power.

Also, if you were talking about a fully charged smash, than that's just stupid, because anyone dumb enough to run into a fully charged smash deserves to have been KO'd anyway.

That's why Ike works better in 2v2 or FFA rather than 1v1 IMO. People tend to walk right into his slow attacks a lot more often when there are more bodies around. Although either way, his smash attacks aren't usually a good idea, his aerials are usually safe and his jab combo is good.

Ike isn't cheap in 1v1s. Maybe in free for alls he can steal your kill with his side smash but he is otherwise a good character to use. Utilize his power with his speed and super armor frames. Ike is good- not cheap by skill

These aren't really techniques. I used to main Ike, and I can safely say that if you face anybody online with these you'll be slaughtered. Some of these "techniques" are way too slow.
