i just got the beatles rockband value edition (which comes with rb1 instruments) and its brilliant. no more distracting clicking noises when you strum, the drums are kinda loud and the pedal is to close to you but its still very good. the mic... well i havent tryed that yet but i suspect that will be good too.

to me the guitar hero stuff is way better the guitar on rock band SUX it feels like a piece of crap the strum, frets and well everything is crap.. the drums are ok, but I found the guitar hero ones to be better you tend to hit the frame of the drum pads alot and the fact that there are 4 drum pads instead of 5 kinda sux I like difficulty and they ones guitar hero are just better, even in durability but the mics are like The Same, as for the games rock band just milks..more DLC than game songs

my friend bought guitar hero world tour with the instruments and the strum bar on the guitar sqeaks and its like really distracting

bt i prefer rock band for many reasons:

its the original band game

better songs

yo have the option in ghwt when you plug in the rockband drums to use the rockband drums so green,red,yellow,blue and orange as a pedal

the les paul owns its quiet and strumming OWNS i never had problems with it. the battery also lasts forever. i recomend les paul to ALL 360/PS3 owners

Ya I know what You mean I was in the same boat as you. I was able to pass all of the songs available to the Wii version of Rockband on Medium but my scores sucked in comparison to GH. I was so used to the GH controller's strum bar. That the Mushy strum bar of the RB1 Strat wasnt that good. Im planning on getting the RB2 strat because the strum bar is very improved ( I watched a review of the RB2 strat.) thats How I know.

i have rock band 2 and i love the songs, drums, microphone, and game. but i HATE the guitar. so since i already have the rock band 2 bundle i'm gonna get the guitar hero world tour guitar bundle, so i get another game and a great guitar, plus it's a second guitar so i can play full band with a great guitar.

I have already purchased the GHWT kit and to be honest with you I just sold it on eBay. As I expected, there was a big problem with the drums. YES they look better and YES they are alot quieter, but in terms of performance they were horrible. However the guitar that came with the kit was AMAZING. 10/10 in terms of performance. And the mic was pretty much the exact same as RB with a different logo. You can us RB drums in GHWT though, and that is a good thing. The guitar kit is worth it band? ehhh
