Creole can refer to a language that is largely derived from a main one, and with words of other origin in it. Back then, at first, creole referred to all the negro slaves and the white settlers who were born in the colonies. then the meaning changed to described a person of mixed race (black and white)

I was so annoyed when they started teaching it to this kid and he grasped a bit of the language.
