As for fade outs, I know what you mean. Im a huge fan of a group called Girl In A Coma. I wonder if they too have isdues with that cuz not one of their songs on their 3 albums fades out. When you start recording i hope you avoid the fade outs. That way when i cover one of your songs i wont have to figure out how to end it.

Definite potential here. I think you could have a much better tonal recording if you get the ambient recording down 1st. Do a demo as a test per se' and bring the backing track closer, and get a mic close to that stack. Nice job.

One more thing when your jamming with a singer try to respond to their vocal lines by answering them with your guitar and try not to clash over the top of them. This is very important especially in a live situation. I love seeing someone like you with so much passion for guitar. I also LOVE the instrument, it is my air, food and love of life!

Nice jam, There are alot of backing tracks on YouTube you can jam along to. I suggest picking out around 10 of them and jam through them at least once everyday. This will help you even get better at improvising than you are now. Also always keep learning new techniques and dedicate time to practice them. Learning the guitar is a lifetime journey! Learn all your modes and scales and incorporate them in your style. Never get the feeling you are the best always remain open and keep learning.

I remember JImi's and Eric's versions of this song.

OK, but your playing would make more of an imnpression if you backed off the backing, slowed the tempo down (like the Jim version of this song on the 'Blues' compilation, and maybe played slower and let a few notes sustain and ring out. It sounds a but mechanical.

after all, what's the point of owning a classic Gibson of you arebn;t hoing to make bests use of the sustain?
