  • Nobody like Hutch. Been gone 14 years and my husband is still jealous. RIP Love The Loved One.

  • he' s sooooooooo hot

  • <3<3<3

    R.I.P. Mike

  • am i the only one that gets these advertisements up at top right, about single girls, needing a man???? 'cause i wanna know if you've seen that blond, short hair, in the green top??? she is so beautiful, she's scary!! i know, she would just hynotize me into doing anything she wanted, i would just be, uh huh, hu huh.... unbelievable! does anybody else see her this way? or is it just me?

  • hey inxs makes me happy. thanx!

  • awsome

  • These performances are just spot on. Incredible but that's no suprize!

  • didn't inxs have a song that went: mary, mary, you're on my mind? so which one is it, 'cause i really, really want to know. :)

  • @m1kewithaone --That song is called 'Good Times' and is with Jimmy Barnes. It is on Youtube. Enjoy brother!

  • @TimStewartOnHisOwn hey, you're right!!! thanx! but why do they call it jimmy barnes, who is he? hey, you might wanna check out "paris big town 2061.

  • @m1kewithaone -- Jimmy Barnes was another rocker from Australia, in fact, he's still performing. They just collaborated on the song 'Good Times'.

  • @m1kewithaone Yes, "Good Times" with Jimmy Barnes -- originally from "The Lost Boys" soundtrack.

  • @LargeItalianSausage oh, ok thanks!! i just watched that movie! now that you mentioned it, i think they did play about 2 seconds of it in there, and i didn't notice because i was noticing the posted signs of the missing children in that town..... oh scary, that movie still gives me chills just thinking about it. best vampire movie ever made. i've seen it 100 times, and never get tired of it!! i wonder who that sax player is??

  • @LargeItalianSausage it was 1987, and there was a song on KROQ. all i remember is the line: "come in, come out of the rain" maybe if you were there you remember.

  • yum...

  • Oh his eyes are sexy & the way he moves...natural performer, good too soon :(

  • I remember watching this on tv live, and still have it somewhere on vhs. Those were the days...

  • Happy Birthday Michael...you are missed. What an under-rated band and over-looked frontman. Not only did he have an amazing stage presence but he could actually SING!!! That combination is sorely missing from today's rock bands.

  • @nashvillegirl how did he die? i was wondering what happened to inxs. i really, really liked them. and then "reptile" by "church" would come on K-ROQ, and if that wasn't enough, then they would throw on "sisters of mercy" with, "this corosion" !! man back in the '80s they just kept pounding us with awsome music. and they just wouldn't let up!

  • GUAPOOOOOO jaja

  • Sorry I missed Michael in concert. Another great performer gone far too soon !

  • he said he didnt want to live to be 40 heheheheee

  • Sexy Sexy Hutch..... rumor has it he is busy decomposing nowadays..... but SO HOT....

  • @LovingFilmmaker well he has been cremated actually. what a tasty joke....

  • Si esto no es talento por Dios, donde esta? MARAVILLOSO.....INXS lo mejor de lo mejor......Alicia

  • The three people that gave the thumb down vote to this should have their thumbs cut off, I am just saying...

  • Saw this tour at Alpine Valley Wi. 1988. Cheap Trick opened up for them.

  • amazing, i wish i was born in the 70's so i could appreciate this music more.

  • is this really HIM???? seriously ... I don't get the mustache.

  • is this really him??? what is up with the mustache?

  • Phenomenal! What venue in 1988? I agree with the year.

  • MICHAEL WAS A TALENT LIKE NO OTHER WE MISS YOU! WHAT A VOICE! LOVE YOU MAN!

  • Wow! I miss him. He was just so awesome.

  • they only played 3 songs. it wasnt a concert

  • this wasn't a full concert. they played these 3 songs and that was it.

  • While I was into jazz at that time, in retrospect, they were really good and he was really hot.

  • They were always good, but I think they were in their prime about 91. If you check out the Wembley concert video(s) you can see what I mean. Such a great singer ,front man.... and such a cutie pie. : ).

  • INXS=Michael Hutchense=INXS Es unico, nadie tiene esa voz y ese encanto, le ponia el corazon a los temas.Eran fabulosos, no habra otro igual...y esos coros maravillosos...los amo...Alicia

  • Cant believe those knobs from oasis tried to put him down - Hutch is a legend, the gallaghers will fade away.

  • @thedaddy2711 I agree, it was quite obvious they are jealous of Michael.

  • 80's Morisson. for sure they even died similarly, fuckin jim and mike r.i.p.

  • @evo2024 absolutely!!!!!

    Both were fucking unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • he has no butt!

  • he's just so charming and everything about him is heart warming.

  • This is on a 2 disc set DVDs with videos, commentary and all that jazz, I'm Only Looking.

  • soo pro this! miss em :(

  • his voice n himself as a person was soooooo amaazing!!! thnx for sharing this !!!! i still miss him also!!!!!

  • imagine what could have been.......

  • At this moment in time, he was so hot, hot as a frontman, hot as a performer and very hot as a man

  • No one will ever be able to replace him. I cried for days when he died. But his music will carry on in his memory!!

  • Yes!! I AGREE Michael belongs in the greatest of all songwriter, singers of all time. We miss u soo much ! May GOD bless ur precious soul. RIP We love and miss u.

  • I still think the movie "The Doors" would have been seen an oscar if they had used Michael rather than Val Kilmer. Michael was born for the role, and always seemed like a reborn Morrison. But we'll never know. We miss you Michael!

  • I still think the movie "The Doors" would have been seen an oscar if they had used Michael rather than Val Kilmer. Michael was born for the role, and always seemed like a reborn Morrison. But we'll never know. We miss you Michael!

  • Why did you kill yourself Mike, there´s a lot of people who miss your great voice, you were one of the greatest of the greatest

  • thanks for sharing the show... this show a just few days after we (susan and I) saw 'the shows WOW! miss yah Michael

  • Great performance, INXS was phenomenal live, and Michael Hutchence was one of a kind, irreplaceable, RIP

  • Great to see reminds me why they were one of my favorite bands of the eighties....

  • You've said it the best. IN THEIR PRIME! no one better. @ this point they were hands down the best band in the world. RIP Michael.

  • INXS and Michael Hutchence, they don't sell bullshit, live brilliant performers all through their bright career. He sings live as ...he was created for, to enthrall the crowds and some precious hearts. Why are you gone Michael??

  • Callummcphail, what you said, that´s so absolutly true. Nobody ever will reach this unbelievable, charismatic singer and songwriter. For me, INXS only exists with Michael Hutchence. Everything else is Bullsh.. ! So, let´s enjoy this great songs, with the one and only real singer of INXS!

  • jd fortune can only dream. big thing to live up to, good one for tryin, good luck in the future. now tim, kirk n the guys, will you just fuck off and let micheal rest in peace, he was the soul of the band, and that will never come back. would be like the stones without jagger, u2 without bono, rem without stype, nirvana without kurt,,,,,,,,,,ken what am sayin. goodnight!

  • where + when is this?

  • i agree with bryanlynne - and by taking them off you deprive so many from seeing just how SEXY Michael Hutchence was!!! :)

  • Yes!! a great mix. I'm ticked that alot of the INXS vids are being removed. I understand record companies want their money, but by removing the videos they lose sales of someone who sees a video and then buys it on itunes or the entire CD. Seems to me they are shooting themselves in the foot!

  • oh my gosh, i remember when this was aired...hard rock cafe, right? michael was one of a kind, and he dated the lovely helena christensen & kylie minogue.

  • what a great run of songs!

    Happy 50th Michael

  • He sounds as good live as he does recorded. He was such a talent (the group). Too short a life time!

  • they should just get the bass player to sing now

  • Comment removed

  • kinda looks like balboa park san diego but i ain't sayin for sure

inxs was the shit. i'm walking down memory lane here

  • it's balboa island, l.a.

  • Mr. Hutchence had an instantaneous energetic animal magnetism and dripping sexual allure that made women's knees weak and melted panties.

They'd stand up when he came on stage and never sat back down.

Shades of Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and Axl Rose.

  • morrison wasn't as talented. henrdix is highly overrated by the hippies and axl rose is very talented but one dimnesional.

  • @zippyman818 I was 13 when I fell for him, so pretty innocent still lol. It was when Kick was out, and I'd rush home from school to see if they'd play Inxs videos on the video show they had on at 4pm.

  • @Cassie8810 You mean back when MTV actually played videos almost all day long?

The music holds up independent of the videos which are now a decadent treasure.

    (what a novel idea!)

((did Ty hit Cassie again?t, is Andrew ever going to take that damn panda hat off, how come the cute chicks smoke?wow the city looks great on TV! Oh, I'm sorry, music, right! Crams earbuds in deeper.))

  • He was in class all on his own. He just just had It. Sexy, Voice like an angel, hansome, and IT. IT is something you can not even describe.

  • wow. spellbinding. where in cali was this?

  • INXS with Michael Hutchence was definitely a Godsend-a once in a lifetime, cherished, treasure for us all!

  • that man was just to cool for this world

  • @dragonfitter great sentence to describe what michael was.

  • lol keep an eye out on the sky as from wen 2nd song starts to half way thru song gone from sunny sun shine to pitch black the dawn is here mad

  • brill.. STFU

  • hahahahahahaha true

  • oh my,back when there was talent....saw him in st louis before he was killed....my bic is in the air....rock on michael

  • I put this man in a group with Bono, Mercury and Jagger. 20th Century "super frontmen"

  • I was lucky enough to see INXS...of all places Town and Country Club LEEDS summer of 93 it was just like this....

  • @bigmaxy07 and Jim Morrison

  • @bigmaxy07 Agreed 100%, except for Jagger. I'd add Plant in his place. I met him 2 months before he died, and it's still a highlight of my life. And they were the first concert I ever went to (same tour as this clip). I'd love to buy/trade for this whole concert/video if anyone knows how to get it or has it already. Send me a message if so! Thanks!

  • @LargeItalianSausage i was going to say the same thing!!! i thought robert plant was very sexy (of course, in a heteral kinda way... ) 1987 was a good year. a very good year. and there was a song that went: " come in, come out of the rain" ooh, so cool. but i don't remember who did it. and i thought inxs did the song that went: 'mary mary you're on my mind" but i can't find it. i guess i'll go listen to "reptile" by "the church" really cool too! and it reminds me of my x girlfriend, donna... :)

  • great fucking clip ....

    inxs will get their due's

    good job.......

    thanks for the upload .....

  • unbelievable great!!!!

  • STILL a hugely underrated singer and frontman - Michael will get his due in time I think

  • yes to the first and no to the second i'm afraid. Life and especially music business is cruel. Great vid I watch it regualary - love this version of mystify they' ve done some great job in here.

  • still sounds sssooooooooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! god! ii feckin love it!!

  • One of my fave bands ever....

  • What is that synth? the one on top used for "Never tear us apart"?????

    Sounds Killerrr

  • WHAT A MEN,only you,R.I.P.

  • I miss Michael Hutchence, is this concert available any where? I would love to watch this on a big screen with some Bose speakers

  • There's a Great Question anyone know whether you can get the concert on DVD?

  • Anyone that got Kyle into bed is good in my book, and who can blame her

  • woha....this is on youtube avg recording 15 yrs later and it still beats the "crap on tv today let alone white rap, liitle girls, and dudes" amazing band

  • They definitely would be on top of the world even today! What a voice, what a band!

  • omg i put a negative comment..on u...sorry im like in tears here and listening to NTUA

    im sorry...BEST BAND EVA!

  • In all that exists, none has his beauty ....

  • Michael H = Angel. Miss him!

  • wow he was awesome! they always sounded so good live, unlike alot of bands. Michael looked so HOT!!!!!

  • R.I.P. Michael

  • Michael, I forgot how sexy and hot you were. I saw you once in Geneva in a small place, you were throwing buckets full of water at us to cool us down...

    RIP Michael.

  • The last frontman ....

  • Definitely at their devastating best in 87-88 kick era. They were untouchable.

  • im in love with these three songs he sings

  • What a material!!!

    What a band!!!

    What a leader!!!!!!!

Michael wherever you are = I LOVE YOU and I MISS YOU

  • everytime i see him and listen to him,he takes my breath away..it's incredible!!he was fantastic, apart from being terrebly gorgeous,he was the bet performance, frotmam i've ever seen,in all the ways he was the best! and with INXS it was just too perfect, too excellent!!

  • wuaCHITOO RICOOO A SII LO AMOOOO A PESAR DE QUE YA NO ESTE EN ESTA VIDAAA AUN LO AMOO!!!

  • This is a document. A million thanks.

  • He is magic. Magic.

  • This is the shit!! Brilliant, superb, stunning. He had class and style, for not to mention a great voice!!

  • Thank you so much. I saw them twice. Michael always appeared to be some sort of reincarnation of Jim Morrison, all snake-ey and leathery. He was awesome and I miss him much.

  • would like to say thanks to everyone for posting comments on this. Please advise if you wish for anything inparticular by inxs for me to Add once again thanks.

  • What else do you have? I mean, from the 'X' tour for instance, other than Live Baby Live, ot from the Welcome to wherever you are tour.

  • I have live in argentina concert in full but is too long to put on you tube unfortunately

  • You dont happen to have anything of Johnsons Aeroplane do you? Thats one of my favourite INXS songs.

  • i have an audio cd of inxs live in switzerland 1986 which has johnsons aeroplane but no video of that song

  • My pen pal told me about this and LOVE it

Love Michael and miss him very much but still love LIVE BABY LIVE has more color

To all INXS fans play this and of course LIVE Baby LIVE Now love Tim and Jon the others too but Tim and Jon are my favs now Michael was and still is sexy

    Sheila

    INXS LOVER

  • One of the most charismatic singers in the history of rock music. He died way too young.Rest in peace.

  • I love Michael's smile at around :39 when he sings "Do you feel the same baby?" He was just so HOT!!!

  • Beautiful Michael, beautiful music, he had it all. Never Tear Us Apart will never be the same, used to be the most romantic song, now it is the saddest........

  • FREDDIE IS THE GREATEST!!! NUMBER 1 GREATEST FRONTMAN EVER! NO QUESTION OR ARGUMENT NEEDED! Michael is def up there with him. This youtube video is AWESOME!

    Thanks!

    -AR

  • brilliant esp wen he sings never tear us apart!

  • Only 2 men, when stepping on stage, ruled the whole thing: Michael Hutchence and Bono from U2 (allthough he does'nt look that well like Michael)but they set the definition of frontman-performance and I've seen no one even coming close to them, coz this 2 were born for that and made it.

  • What about Freddie Mercury?

  • Agree, Mercury was in that group also. Watch the Queen at Wembley vids. He was totally captivating.

  • What about Dave Gahan, he ROCKS!!!!

  • INXS es el mejor grupo de la historia. Lo Maximo ¡¡¡ Y Hutchence una terrible perdida para el Mundo de la Musica. Nunca habra nadie que le llegue a los talones.

  • Greatness.

  • "Kick" is one of the best INXS albums of the 80s, AND one of the greatest albums that brought INXS at the highest peak of their career. This album IS a real "keeper".

  • What I really appreciated about these guys was that their live performances never deviated much from the recorded songs. Live, every note, every inflection in Michael's voice was almost like listening to a recording. Pure genius. (The Stones could take a lesson).

  • this is not on the dvd cool ,is there a full performance

  • There was something very special about mike way back in the heyday,I think he had all the qualities girls look for in a guy.He was tall dark & handsome, oozed sex appeal, had a gorgeous sexy voice that would make you drop your knickers in a flash!!!.....droooolllll!!

  • nobody will ever come close to him in looks or stage presence. the ultimate front man to lead one of the best bands ever.

  • i totally agree with you in your opinion, that's right! the stage presence, the quality, energy, charisma with the best band ever!!!!!!!!

  • yes i agree with u 100% he was sexy..

  • i totally agree,he is so sexy,so sweet,so talented it's surreal

  • RIP - the most beautiful man that has walked the Earth!

  • I think scorching is the word here!!!! Levis have never looked so good ! Michael = DREAMBOAT. Thanks for posting - great concert. INXS will always be the greatest live band in the world. U2 come close, but Hutch's voice is so much cleaner and stronger that Bono's. Hutch - we miss you so much. RIP. We'll never forget you.

  • How often I had to break out in loud laughter when INXS/MH-Formation was compared to other bands, who tried to play in the same genre. In their time with MH until today they have performed in a ligue of SUPERTALENTS and can't be compared with normal bands! They are lonely there with greats like ELP, Supertramp, Dire Straits ... and they rule! Forget charts! INXS/MH need no charts!

  • Wow! Amazing! Michael is stunning, and what a sexy performance ummmmmmmmmmmmm

  • another great performance by the hottest rockstar ever...and we're leaving broken hearts behind

  • Can you ever recall, in all the live footage you've seen and the live shows you have been to, a version of Never Tear Us Apart performed more perfect than this ?

  • never!!!

  • Yes. Jools Holland, Available on youtube.

  • Yep, I must agree with Donno. Jools Holland, 1994. On here - look it up.

  • yeap. just like donno said, in Jools Holland, it was an quite a performance! my favorite as well! xD

  • Thank you for sharing!!!! One of my favorites with Michael...soooooo sexy!!!!!!R.I.P. Michael, miss you every day !!!!

  • Oh yeah! Thank you!!!

  • love this!!!Fave song Never tear us apart of INXS

  • They need to reissue this concert on DVD. MH is so hot in this performance. I love it!

  • I think those Levi's look so much better on guys than those baggy pants they wear nowadays!! So much sexier!! Especially on Hutch!! Mystify is my favorite song to watch Hutch sing-well,also Never Tear Us Apart too!!

  • MICHAEL IS PURE PERFECTION!!!!

  • MICHAEL IS PURE PERFECTION!!!!

  • Wow, Michael and the band are outstanding! It doesn't get any better.
