these are great cars i have a 04 mazda6 s and and 04 bmw 330i bothnow have over 130k miles and havent had a single problem other than maintainance. mazda had one fan recall though but i love em. great cars

You are probably talking about the Mazda Speed 6. Of course with a turbo charged engine it will be faster than the models with the normally aspirated motor.

this car turns and stops faster than a WRX AND your car lol. do your fuckin research. the ms3 doesnt outdo an ms6 in many categorys at all. they even changed your gas mpg after the first year to lower than the MS6. 93 octane map sucka. you really need to do some research before complaining about 300 extra lbs on a 4 door full size in comparison to your compact hatchback. we still make the same track times, and my car handles intensely better in autocross. stopping and turning he says LOL.

Everyone ending up in ditches and around poles in the winter are driving SUV's. The fact is if you car is heavier and a higher center of gravity you perform WORSE in the snow EXCEPT when you are excelerating - turning and stopping is worse. That's my point.

My other point is AWD is overrated - more weight, more gas, less performance. You do have a pont with auto-cross - who gives a crap about auto-cross. For the 5 days of unplowed roads a year, it's not worth the money. You people in 4x4's drive me nuts. I know when a AWD system has it's advantages - you are to blind to see it's disadvantages. i dont have an mps. i have an '07 MAZDASPEED6. Rated by Car and Driver at a 5.4sec 0-60 (14.0sec quarter mile and the mazdaspeed3 scored the same quarter time)DSC must be turned off. i have made 5.3 sec 0-60s on a Dashhawk, all stock with only optima battery and kuhmo tires, nothing else lets to a little research, people. the mps and mazda claims of 6.0-6.2 0-60 is based on DSC remaining on, and no launch. the average person doesnt rev to 4.5k and slip the clutch.

just for the record my ms6's best quarter is 13.39... at 103.8mph... and its basically stock with only a CAI and TP. You just need to know how to drive the car... like shift at 5500rpm, and slip the clutch...

Thats because this car is in the midsize sedan category,like the camry,altima,and accord.Its just so happened in 06,or whatever year it was, mazda added a "performance model." Mazda 6 is the best front wheel drive midsize sedan under 30 grand, accord looks like shit, same with the camry and almost all of the other midsize fwd sedans out there. Plus the Mazda drives good and it is pretty quick,not to mention it looks great, but i would rather take a Pontiac G8, the best bargain out there, 361 hp for under 30 grand!

coz when u live in a narrow street in nyc , and u got to park outside sometimes it helps to have folding mirror, i have a camry and the mirror has been chopped off a couple times. that's why the accord is the best coz it got everything and more albeit looking a little weird these days.
