@CF1791ROLFMAO The british used high rof volley fire with their enfields in the two world wars. But I understand what you mean lol. Ive done what you said while playing. I was actually testing for functionality in the vid to be quite honest. The limits of the markers capability is the best thing to test to make sure the action is sound.
@dannyd137 sounds cool and i know what you mean about the high rate of fire tactic i dose work at closer ranges but i am more of a marksman my self so i cant help myself from going all picky when it comes to things like this but other than that good vid :)
What is the point of having a bolt if you are just going to short stroke it every time? You defend creating this gun due to realism yet that is the most unrealistic part about it? Please help me understand this...
@SingerBlinger568 Im not "short stroking" because ive been cocking the rifle all the way back. Im assuming you mean something different, that the bolt handle doesnt go as far as a firearm.
With pump markers the same problem is present. It does not replicate a pump action firearm exactly. A pump actually goes the exact same distance as my bolt in the video. The reason is simple: The markers bolt in either case only has to go the length of the paintball, NOT a bullet or shell.
@SingerBlinger568 And to add to my previous post, I do not defend this gun in terms of realism. Heck, the parts are a mismatch of rifles and do not resemble one in particular. I simply made it to have fun as I mentioned in a previous post. The very first paintball marker was a bolt action, the nelspot. Why not rediscover the roots of the sport?
If you ever make a project of your own, you will need to balance realism with practicality.100% realism is impossible.
@miked1997 They are coming along. One is almost finished - just need to do the finishing touches. The other I will be starting in the spring. I may be posting a build video and a gameplay video shortly.
@CollinAC911 The point of playing pump is not for a better gun. On the contrary, your looking for disadvantage and lets face it, the cool factor pump players have an aura about.
I have a prostock, and 2 phantoms. They both cost more than this build. And they are equally all fun to play with. Someday you will discover its not about whats the best gun, its whats more fun to play with on a particular day. I enjoy bringing this to scenarios cause its just plain fun.
@TrevorW16 You cant - I made it myself. 100% custom work. I made it the way I envisioned it. I sold her recently to someone who wanted it in the comments below. Ill be making one more, which is halfway done, but sadly it will be for my personal use.
@TrevorW16 Look in the description section of the video. I give a link in there showing a how to on how i made the rifle and with what materials. If you have any further questions, shoot me a message
@dannyd137 how far does it shoot. i mean when it is horizontal. im no paintball player, actually i have never fired a paintball gun before. but it looks cool
@DarwinISmyHOMEboy It can run off anything, but I have attached a remote line to it, as I love using HPA. I have attached a quick 12g changer to it for a lighter setup, and sometimes run it off of a 3.5 oz tank.
@dannyd137 so the feedline for the Compressed gas runs to a pack on your back? i'm guessing given the fact you arn't pumping a large spring chamber (up and down movement only) it's still mainly run by an exterior compressor.
@DarwinISmyHOMEboy Its not up down only. Its hard to see near the beggining of the video but at the end you can see that it goes back and forward as well. The spring in the gun is a standard autococker spring for operating the valve/hammer, and the back/forth motion is necissary to cock the rifle. I have a ninja 68ci 4500 psi cf tank hooked up to it.
@PleaseButterMyToast Don't call him gay for making probably the most bad ass woodsball sniper in the history of man. And who are you to call him gay with a gay name like PleaseButterMyToast?
@JndJproductions Look near the end of the video where i load the fs round in. You will see it does backwards forwards too! You need to do that to cycle the bolt. It isnt as much travel as a real bolt action rifle but then again the bolt just needs to travel the distance of a paintball, not a 303 bullet.
He built his. Engler charges 900 for his bolt action build. Which is silly because his are even more simple than these.
Building one off of say, a spyder, is incredibly easy, the only part that takes any sort of work for it to look really good is the trigger, and if you werent worried about aesthetics that point is moot.
@rampagemcpherson The fps in the vid was set at 270. It can be set at anything other markers can be set at. The maximum effective distance is the same as any other marker. FS rounds increase that distance approx 2 fold.
@nightmareRHbf Im not sure if your foriegn or something cause your english text is horribly broken, but if im interpreting your comment correctly, my video was not meant to show the difference between first strike and regular paintballs. There are a tonne out there if you want that. I was simply testing my marker out to see if it shot. Hence the "testing" in the title.
But i guess you didnt read that, and it doesnt surprise me based on the quality of your comment.
@airmatt86 First off its a modified autococker. Autocockers turned pump or bolt action are called "snipers" in the paintball world FYI. Second -take a look at the title. It says 'testing" I was simply testing the marker out to see if it fired (being the 1st time i tried it out ever) and the best way to do so is to fire it at its limits to see if it jams or locks up, which surprisingly it didnt.
Stay tuned for it in action durring some scenario games!!! Subscribe!
@chosen010000 No vid. Took me a solid week to make one, so thats too much to put on a video. But i got a link for a how to in the description of the video above.
@StoneWall190 Its a shotgun shell holder for stocks. I also use it when i rock my phantom. Works great as a wrist harness as well. $5 at your local sports store. Cant go wrong
@dannyd137 thanks for the heads up i was thinking of ordering something like this but i ended up buying a pbmafia joyride harness instead but i thought about putting it on my tstock so i'll keep my eyes peeled for them.
@Calvert1212 No website. I make these as a hobby. Occassionally i do sell them. The one shown in the video will be up for sale soon. PM me if your interested.
@huhmenoway I have been. This one is spoken for. Its more of a hobby though. When i have time i crank one out and sell it. This is my second. Ive got 2 more in the works.
@icedraqun Took $280 with the btsa-17 mag. You can do it cheaper if you use other things. I went all out and got a carbon fiber barrel, and historic stock for this one, but getting the basic will cut down costs.
