Living in a small village requires economic sustainability. If you're not a farmer, how yah going to do it? You'd have to live economically outside of the local economy, i.e., using phone, internet, etc. Why do villages like this die? They die from the lack of an economy - and boredom. Socio-emotional-economical factors all have to be considered to make it work.
@kazimann go ahead dude, your offspring will face the consequences. I'll be off the earth in my solar powered rocket ship so it won't be my problem! ha ha
@kazimann i dont think that really pisses anyone off. i mean, obviously you just see the same importance in something others do. most people dont. and youre probably annoyed by our extreme idealism. thats fine, i understand. but even from an environmentalist perspective, people are doing far more ignorant things all around. like you know, killing each other. so go ahead, let off some steam.
I'm not sure if you're serious or just trolling. To be honest, you'll be dead and gone and your children or their children will probably starve. I don't think you understand the concept of what's going to happen. Overpopulation and oil depletion = food and water shortages. American suburbs will become slums and widespread violence WILL happen for survival. I hope your children will find this out, please never pass on your 'knowledge' to them if you reproduce. Nobody deserves that.
Im from Argentinaand always been interested in ecovillages..we also got a couple here..i would love to visit that one...and be able to teach Spanish there !..for a change !
Always knew that a place like this was possible to create and would be beneficial to all involoved. I think this eco village is truly the wave of the future. To live not only in harmony with nature but to make a POSITIVE impact on our surrounding environment is truly an amazing feat. Will look forward to your next video!
Great village and people.
