@TheLastOnimusha he isn't unlockable. the music is just his theme from when you fought him on this game. This is the only Samurai Warriors game in which you can play against/as Lu Bu. On another note, Yukimura Sanada is unlockable in Dynasty Warriors 4: Empires.

For me I have to say.....though Samurai warriors was good, I didnt like it as much as Dynasty. DW had the legacy, and characters who were well established with intricate histories. And for once, it wasnt something all about japan, which is constantly getting the spotlight in games for ninjas and samurai. China's warriors in my opinion were cooler, and they had a longer running gaming legacy with Koei. SW was okay, but not the best.

@Nights1re It helps that DW series is sourced from a book entitled "Romance of the Three Kingdoms," which besides the historical and archeological sources, allows for greater depth of characterization in adapting it to other forms of media. Besides that, china is a gigantic continent with tons of cultural and topographical diversity to choose from.

unlike gamerr266 i believe samurai warriors is better all the characters actually have character to them where as i believe Dynasty warriors don't, Take Zhen Ji for example before DW5 what was her storyline Dynasty warriors is good and i thought DW6 was good i just feel DW has a long way to come till it can reach Samurai's standards.., sorry if someone doesn't agree i just think DW is bland and boring compared to Samurai Warrios (2 even i must say SW1 was horrible so was DW 2 - 4 tho)

@FlamboyantJRocker92 Dynasty warriors 4 3 and 2 weren`t horrible in fact they were made before Sw was even made.They all have a good and understandable storyline.Zhen ji had better costumes in Dw 4 and Dw 3 than Dw5.Dw4 has a good and actually exciting storyline for example.Don`t talk about it if you haven`t played it.

I have played all DW bar no. 1. I think DW was ruined because of the ammount of characters they should of taken it slow like SW. Stories are not always addressed in these games well not to the detail of SW anyway :S

Its the Master Mode for Samurai Warriors. If you didnt enter that first, the codes wouldnt work.

I think its just for PC because the actual coding for him is not in the game. e.g. Lu Bu appeared in SW1, but as an unplayable character. But in SW2 he doesn't appear at all, so the only option is play as him by creating a mod.

Lu Bu is only unlockable by Gameshark in PS2. You cannot unlock him in game without gameshark. However, you can still fight him in Xbox and PS2 version in the 30th tower in challenge mode.

Yeah Im from the UK too. :D I had to download a Gameshark as a .elf file, and then burn it to a CD-R. Then I had to use ulaunchelf and Swap Magic to be able to play it on my PAL PS2. Bit of an effort really. If you have AR Max, you could use a free downloadable program called 'MaxConvert' to change the codes from raw/GS format to AR Max. btw the codes are in the description.

Honestly he does. After his third charge or his running attack - he'll say 'come forth!' and 'Eat this' sounds pretty much like DW4 Lu Bu, which this one is based off. Besides, they all come in one voice data, meaning that, if one of his charge shouts is right, they must all be right.

Well, you have to put in the code, then save it on SW1. Then start up Xtreme Legends, load that SW1 data, and then it'll work. So you need to have both games. If you try and play as Lu Bu on SW1, the game will crash.
