The reason he got cut was because the year before he tore his hamstring badly and it didn't fully heal and he didn't find that out until right around the draft so team didn't want to take him because they knew he'd need surgery again.

Injuries...on a pretty unknown team... you have to have pretty huge numbers to get noticed... especially as a WR.

Brodell could be something special if he was more of a true receiver. Not just a guy who runs routes and catches it sometimes.

best part was that earlier ISU"S number 11 did a pussy move and hit brodell before he caught the punt, this punt number 11 dove for him and he ran right past him

Yeah, Brodell needs more receptions. Unfortunately, we only have one game left with him because I'm pretty sure he's a senior. This was a great play, I was there and everyone was going insane.

This was awesome but it seems like if Brodell does something like this he either makes a huge play or fumbles it. Luckily this was a GREAT play and the Cy-Hawk will spend a year in Iowa City.
