  • How long does it take to render this in an average computer?

  • ooohhhhh siickk particles!

  • you need to add the dots ;)

  • Hey guys, I found a link to blender art 16. its the issue where the tutorial for this can be found. page 38.

    scribd com /doc/3243071/Blender-Art-16-May-2008

thumbs up so people can find it easily.

  • hey where did you learn do that and could you show me a tutorial

  • Best blender fire ever seen on youtube,

    this is so realistic.

    blenderart . org / issues /

    magasine 16 is the tutorial???

  • well if that's not a great fire :) the best blenderfire I ever saw on youtube ! :)

  • Wow, impressive. Very, very impressive

  • kewl... now PLEaSE do a tutorial of it

  • WHOA! that looks sooo realistic!

  • i keep trying and following every step of coyhots fire tutorial over and over but i just can't get the same results as him. i mean the particles take a good 150-200 frames just to rise up to the top. no matter how much i change the "life" or "End frame" or "amount". man it looks like i need a first tutorial for a second tutorial. someone who understands coyhot should make a "How to understand coyhot's fire tutorial" video, you know what i mean?

  • you could try increasing the 'normal' value

  • i might try it

  • Amazing particle animation with flames. I only want to use 3D software to create visual effects for my 2D animations. I think Animating fire traditionally would be a royal pain and so would animating rain.

  • how can you make curve the particle

when i do it it just don't move

  • Well done mate, you convinced me to become a blender user. this is by far the best fire out there all other look way cartoony or fake

  • this does look cartoonie lol check out FumeFX :)

  • Hehe I know there are better looking stuff but blender has the great advantagage beeing free.

combine this with AE and you can make this look real enough.

  • @VictorCruz69 yeah, but its also open source so avid users who know how to code can make it better.

  • Blender has such a good particle system. I use Carrara and I like the program but its particle system is horrable.

  • did you make it blurry??

  • its youtube, duh lol -_-

  • Great!! Fire! The Best I've seen yet!

  • thx vodkahack couldnt find it ;)

this tutorial is NOT from me !

  • how do you make it go into a point?

  • you add a lattice, go into edit mode [tab] and size down the top vertices (spelling?) then go to the physics tab and add field - magnetic and set the strength

  • tutorial is on the blenderart mag 16 :

    blenderart . org

  • is this from that tutorial from coyhot? i tried that but got no where as good as urs or his

  • This is some nice fire PLZ make a tutorial on how to do this

  • make a tutorial

  • I think I like this effect even more than mine. With better materials, this sort of thing has the potential to look just plain perfect.

  • Yeah tell something about settings the material .

  • finde ich sehr gut gemacht ich hätte ein paar fragen und zwar:

    mit welcher blenderverion gemacht 2.46?

und könntest du mir bitte das blendfile zukommen lassen?
