lex cut loose at the end of "persona" he tried to be good, but obviously there was something much more darker in him waiting to be awakened. and he was always that good. he was always able to fight. that's why in previous episodes, it has been easier for lex to kick ass because people were no match for him. but green arrow is a master in fighting as well as lex. lex finally showed his pure evilness.
