People should stop raging about the controls. I got the hang of them pretty well, and it doesn't take a lot of trouble for me to manuever. The lock-on system wasn't as bad as they say. The graphics were amazing, the sound, the music, everything was proffessional. I didn't have trouble locking on to items, and all the enemies flying around made the game all the more exciting. I think, the main reason I got a PS3 was for this game. I hope they come out with more like it.

I played this game during an event with 4 Games Journalists, all of which were slagging the game off due to the controls. I had previously had an hour playing the Training mode, so took the controls whilst these journalists were watching me. I flew the dragon with ease. The look on the journalists faces were brilliant. They looked at me as if i was a gaming god. Not one had bothered with the training mode, yet went and reviewed it anyway. Just because YOURE shit, doesnt mean the game is!

@yinyangdragonx Im playing it for the first time and i like it. It reminds me of the rogue squadron games a little. Being the same developers and all. Its great if you use the analog sticks, too many people bashing on it. I decided to pick it up the other day, it was only $10. Took a chance on it and am satisfied. Graphics are nice and the dragons look nicely detailed too. Gameplay is pretty good so far! I have lots of new games here, so i wanted to take a chance with an older low cost title.
Mate, once you've downloaded you need to go into your games list from the menu, select the new one and 'install'. Sometimes takes a while but afterwards, when you select it next time it'll play as normal, hope that helped.
Is this like Drakan where you can get off the dragon and walk around (and play a regular adventure game) or is the whole game just flying on the dragon? Drakan 1 (pc) and 2 (ps2) are two of my very favorite games... ever.

i heard there is a patch that made the controlls more bearable...anyway this game should have sticked to normal controlls or at least a choice to use both the reviews would have been better

I would like the ability to customize armor(and look of the weapon). Also be able to customize the dragon's appearance and it's fire.
Like at the beginning of the game you could pick your dragon's feature(limited). Then as you complete missions or meet certain requirements you unlock features for your next play through. (have fire customizable on the second playthrough)
That could make the game a little cooler. Haven't played this one yet, but I plan on it.

No, not at all. For its time it was a great game, and still is. Could it have been better? Perhaps. People's main issue with the game was that they felt the six-axis control was too hard for them, I say boohoo, I love it. A great flight simulator, definitely.
Possibly one of the most beautifully created games I have ever seen. The graphics look unreal! I NEED to play this game. The art direction is totally right up my alley. And the music is some of the best I have heard in games (from an orchestral standpoint.)
wow the battles look massive! kind of a shame the dragon isnt more of a power up kind of thing, start out on foot fighting the frontlines then get the dragon to go smash the trebuchets and stuff :)

Possibly one of the most beautifully created games I have ever seen. The graphics look unreal! I NEED to play this game. The art direction is totally right up my alley. And the music is some of the best I have heard in games (from an orchestral standpoint.)

wow the battles look massive! kind of a shame the dragon isnt more of a power up kind of thing, start out on foot fighting the frontlines then get the dragon to go smash the trebuchets and stuff :)
