For some reason listening to her joke around before the song made it more tragic. Particularly knowing the background to it, and that I can barely listen to it without crying.
I don't understand why people think she's so good. No doubt she is a very talented harpist, but I find her voice really annoying. I'm not trying to be disrespectful, I just want someone to help me understand... Nicely!
@TomIlling Everyone like different sounds, same as foods. I guess with Joanna, it's that her voice is so unique and different to any other artist. It's so mesmerising. She has the talent to turn her voice into music. And her lyrics are amazing.. Ahhh, it's just so unexplanable. If you find her voice to scratchy, listen to Good Intentions Paving Company and On A Good Day. The songs from her album "Have One On Me" are somewhat "smoother" vocally. Though I love all her music.
Defo one of the best live performances of this song. Oh Gods, that was an understatement. This vid is awesome!

can you hear the audience?
no, you can't, because we were all lost in the music and her unbelievable presence on the stage.
