First heard this on a 1993 Christmastime show he did. Loved this song fand Neil Diamond from that moment on. He'd been around ages before then but I bought up everything he did on cassette at garage sales after that.

@JohnnyTrotz Neil is famous for his love ballads, even a cover he makes, he makes it his own. He even started singing UB40's version of his song Red Red Wine, stating he liked it more (I've heard), when singing live. The man appreciates diversity in music, he's a true musician.

Claiming this is "horrible" is simply your opinion. What you should have said was you just didn't like it, because you've come across very ignorant only appreciating ONE version of a song.
