Keith David (The Arbiter from Halo, and Spawn The animated HBO series) is the perfect voice for Black Panther. I can't imagine him sounding any other way....can you?
IAM A WHITE GUY AND I THINK THE BLACK PANTHER IS A AWSOME CHARTER..BUT TLET ME ASK THE ?..WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THE HAD A WHITE ACTOR PLAYING THE PART..I WOULD BE SAYING WTF..JUST LIKE IAM SAYING WTF ..WITH A BLACK ACOTR PLAYING HEMIDALL...A NORSE GOD..

I've been a B.P. fan since I was about 11 and I'm 40 now. My first comic was Invincible Ironman King-Sized Annual #5. The first page is what hooked me and made me a B.P. fan for life..... "To transcend the man, become the cat"! spoken by T'Challa himself. B.P. has always been a favorite of mine. This cartoon episode is taken straight from the pages of FF # 51 (first appearance of B.P.) drawn by Jack (the King)Kirby himself. I own issues #51 & 52. A great read btw!
You know I find it quite sad that people don't have the same enthusiasm for the Black Panther that they do for the other Marvel heroes.... Just an observation... I just hope it's not race related.
@bryanferryfan I don't think so. The Black Panther is pretty popular but most likely considered a second rate caracter compared to superheroes like Spiderman, Hulk, Iron-Man (who was at one time a second rate character also), etc. Don't get me wrong these are all great superheroes in Marvel, I'm just talking in terms of popularity.
I think that Panther is about where Iron Man was before the movies. My just little bit under. If he had a movie or a cartoon he would be thrown up with the best.
@bryanferryfan Oh for God's sake. In other words we evil white people don't like BP because he's black. This crap gets so tiresome. The truth is, the Panther was one of Lee/kirby's greatest creations, but until very recently, he has had third rate writers who de-powered him to the point where he is basically just a guy in a cat suit. Nobody has ever explored, as the Lion God once said, the "possessor of the Panther power." To be exciting, T'Challa needs to be POWERFUL and get back to his roots.
@Noodleydoo I understand your viewpoint. I was just saying that I don't think the character gets enough attention. I haven't seen the new animated series so I will reserve judgement.
@bryanferryfan All the Panther needs is one great storyline to inspire a dedicated following, as Frank Miller proved with the nearly canceled Daredevil comic back in the 80's. Right now, "Doom War" is EXCELLENT but nobody seems to know about it--and BP is the major player in that. It looks like the writer has increased BP's physical abilities, which is a good thing. A character has to be physically impressive to gain a following.
@bryanferryfan I for one love the Black panther. Pretty much everything about him is awesome. He is way more powerful than most of the Marvel Super Heroes and his nation being in the middle of Africa but more advanced than any other nation is pure win. It is good to see a black man and a whole black nation being portrayed as something OTHER than back water terrorists/gangstas.
Yeah, well the Panther is pretty formidable. He studied the Fatastic Four and new how to counter their abilities. I remember he once short circuited Iron-Man's armor (Stealth Armor) in battle by using soap or shampoo.
Ironically it was this mistake that caused Klaw to have a sound blaster grafted to his shattered hand later on! I guess even the most reckless baddies can learn from their mistakes.
@Styleshift88 It's not that he doesn't trust them. He was trying to see how his abilities would have compared to their's. Using this fight to prepare himself for his fight against Klaw.
so find ich toll hihi

My all-time favorite comic characters. This was a good series and it's a pity it didn't last another season or two.

why is the black panther the bad guy? what is wrong with you people, teaching even your children hate lol
AxmedGurey 3 years ago
He isn't a bad guy. He just doesn't trust the FF. This is classic "good guys fight because of a misunderstanding"
