  • Can you put a comparison review between the Kindle Touch vs the Sony Reader PRS-T1?

  • PRS-T1 for USD99? In Japan it's sold at around 18000 JP yen which is about USD225 at current currency rate. Sony is cheating.

  • sony wins! ;-)

  • If U want just to read buy Kindle for $69.99. I bought Sony $115.99 for my necessities as PDF files and downloading files quicker from my comp or thru Wi-Fi.

  • kindle all the way

  • can somebody please help me?

i am a newbie in this ebook readers and am relly confused which one to purchase but as i can see the best is sony for sure right??

so my question is...is it possible i have many pdfs on my laptop and this is the reason why i wanna buy such a device...now can i send those pdfs from my laptop to the sony reader?? thanks alot

  • @robraab 6" inch e-ink pearl display is not much comfortable for PDF files. Look for IPad or Kindle DX instead or any other tablet with quick and responsive display.

  • Thus is exactly what I was looking 4

  • I've been watching all your e-reader review vids.. all very informative. Sony is actually having the 99$ sale again, and it's even cheaper if you get it off their educational online store. I'm leaning towards Sony due to the better PDF support and the physical buttons.

I've heard that the screen is more reflective than other e-readers though, is this true? Also, is a case recommended? Don't really feel like investing in one.

  • hmm so sony is better?

  • No mention of storage space? Is it not really an issue on any of them?

  • @arkilmer If you have 99999books then Sony has a SD card slot, expand to whatever size you want.

  • I bought the sony e-reader. My opinion pretty much matches the onion review of Sony's new piece of shit that doesn't fucking work. Google that.

  • i got my Sony ereader!! (AWESOME!)

  • Sony for the quality!!!!!!!!!

  • Excellent review, very informative, didn't seem biased either.

  • I really like the Nook Simple Touch but some things I'm wondering if they can be fixed by the user... the partitioning scheme, 750 MBs for B&N Content and 250 MBs for sideloaded content and the possibility to install the Kindle App

  • @waterlily716

There was originally a web browser in the nook but b&n removed it for some unknown reason. I doubt they will add it back

  • Sony PRS-T1 is my second reader. I simply love it and hope it will last for more than a year

  • great comparison. I have a K4 on order so interesting to see what some of the other readers are capable of. i agree, Kindle's home screen is ass, very ugly - they really need to get a graphic designer on to that, also they should add some fonts so you're not stuck with just one serif and one sans serif font.

  • can the kindle read pdf's aloud?

  • Very nice review. Thanks!

  • Great review.. I'm getting the sony for christmas but I cannot decide between the white and black one... Help me out??

  • @musictryhard12 i have the same problem. i think white one can damage our eyes. but view of white sony so cool

  • Thank You. Sony it is

  • Only get an ereader if you want to whack it with a baseball bat in frustration of the worst Internet browsing experience ever.

  • @Ushvin18 That isn't why you get an eReader! You READ with it.

  • Great review! The Kindle Touch isn't available in Ireland yet, (probably not till early in the new year). :( So for me, I guess it's Sony all the way! Thanks for your video! :D

  • Better pdf support, epub and comic support, smoother web browser, audio and android apps if rooted (include text-to-speech, more reader apps, more fonts and dictionaries), multilingual dictionaries... Sony wins.

  • excellent video, as always. i was particularly interested in comparing the Nook v. the Sony, so i was happy to see you post this.

  • The Kindle may beat the PRS and Nook when it comes to content options and ebook pricing, but the Nook and Sony Reader are much better devices.

  • Thank you for all your videos. I checked these 3 models and the Kobo here and with your homepage before choosing Sony's ereader and I couldn't be happier :)

  • i am tempted by the sony though. i read a lot of pdf articles for school. hmmm!

  • great review! i think i will go for the nook, even though it doesn't have the web browser. hopefully they will add that in the future though...

  • Thanks for the great comparison!!!

  • Which is your favorite? 1.1 nook looks better and faster.
