Well for some of ya'll that arent from houston area i kno cars dow here run a hell of alot better then vehicles up north. i ran mid 13s all day at the track and could only brake stall 1700; 2.02 60ft and 3.42 gears. ran a couple 12 second lighnings and again i'm right up on them
Dont think my truck would run good then u can go to hell...... have had alot of complements for how well it did and it weighed 4600 with me in it
He meant 10's in the 1/8th..Lol I'm pretty sure a bolt on lightning with a pulley will run mid 12's.. unless u swap to a K.B. and cams, pump 22psi of boost and put down atleast 700 rwhp u ain't running 10's.

@RcrX572 Come on, I have a lightning with a 6# lower, 2# upper and bolt on SS, VHOs, or trucks like yours are no comparison. I doubt that lightning has a pulley.. remember they run like 15 lbs of boost with a pulley and are supercharged so obviously going to be pretty quick with a pulley swap !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@tyeson85 must be a magical pulley, tune and headers,..im running a 2800 stall, long bars, punisher vb, ported eaton, mid plate, ported c&l plenum, single blade, 6lb lower pulley,full exhaust with headers, a PSI tune, and slicks and only dip 11.80's so i'm going to say bullshit on that. 10 second lightning are fully built with whipples or better. those bolt on's you mentioned high,...and i mean high 12's at best.
if that lightning has a pulley its not much of one. Most lightnings with his type exhaust and lower pulley with a decent tune run low to mid 8's and i know a cammed silverado without gas doesnt run low to mid 8's...close race anyway
well i've already tried the track bs abd i cant get good times. but on the street is a different story. i've ran vehicles low 13sec vehicles and stay avg half to full truck ahead. i've raced two lightnings that both said they've raced other 5.3s and mine was the closest so idk. for the little stuff i have done it runs ok
@RcrX572 yea no doubt if you can run with trucks that run low 13s for your mods inst nothing to be ashamed of. whats wrong is that a lightning with just a 6lb lower pulley and tune should be in the 12.5-13.0 range if they have it tuned right. most the rados around here are pretty quick through the 1/8 but 1/4 they really drop off.

I doubt that lightning has a pulley.. remember they run like 15 lbs of boost with a pulley and are supercharged so obviously going to be pretty quick with a pulley swap !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
