  • Thank you for sharing.. you are beautiful!

  • I may give it another go, but I do much prefere veil work, Thanks

  • There are also singles and sevens. The singles are even harder than the three pattern because you have to keep a steady, constant beat. At least with threes you get to rest on the fourth beat. She didn't even mention zilling while using a veil, which is a very beautiful transition for any choreography. It's easiest to hold the veil between your third and fourth fingers. This way, the zills don't interfere when you swirl the veil around.

  • @firetyger20 are you realy able to use fingercymbals and a veil at the same time?

Amazing, I never see anybody using them both!! Don't you have a video to see how it looks like?

    thank you

  • I do not like using zills I'm no good at it, but you do need to a lot more than this just to even begin zilling. The 1 2 3 pattern should be done with alternate zills and there's a pause before you start again. Then if your better than me you can also start dancing whilst zilling - good luck.

  • The best way to play zils is to drop the 1-2-3 pattern and think 'doum' 'tec' and 'te-ca'.

This will keep you in sync with the music and allows you to jump in and out at will. Refering to 1-2-3 patterns should only be used as part of the explanation and never the way to actually 'use' while dancing or you're going to find yourself off beat very quickly.

Don't give up! It takes time.
