@islandbuoy4 you're clearly one of the less bright children seeing as how you "want to promote the arts more". instead of becoming a deadbeat artist living off welfare why don't you learn something useful and get a real job.
@PattyObrien616 that is quite the stupid assumption that I am an artist. duh I am retired...maybe I wish I was an artist is music an art ignorant folks like yourself diss ALL the artists in the world why? ah I forgot you are an ignorant low life human who loves the mundane and profane? and you are obviously somebody who likes the numbers 616 and 666? do you have a bible in the end table? and a revolver in your glovebox lol
theres gotta be 2same looking snowflakes somewhere... i mean theres bagillion of millions of em... its not like someone went out to check if they're differ..... omg i just got the best idea ever!
So every snowflake is the same in which they all have a hexagonal latus (I think that is what it is called). But they are unique in which what grows off them, right? So basically speaking, every snowflake is the same but uniquely different?
If somebody actually did a vid like that i would think there a nert, na only kidding, thats pretty cool, but its not cool weatherwise now so thats not cool, wish it was still snowing, cool vid.
question: if you got a balloon of oxygen and a balloon of hydrogen and mixed them together would water randomly fall from the air (would they mix and make water)
if you put two parts hydrogen and one part oxyhen into the same balloon, then lit the ballon, then a small pool of water would be left in the exploded balloon but not a right lot (:
I love the snow, it seems to make everything look so much better. I've still got about a foot of snow in my backyard, and we're expecting more tomorow =D
Good stuff. People watch your videos when they're sick of having their minds blown by trippy pop-sci books/programs and want to understand things properly. Mind blowing stuff related to this one be found in "The Monster Group" uploaded by VeritySeeker.
All crystals belong to one of only six symmetry systems. Water is hexagonal, CO2 (I've just looked up) is cubic. This doesn't mean CO2 crystals aresimple cubes, but the shapes of such crystals is determined by that structure. Apparently they have CO2 snow on Mars.
I'd have to disagree. There's only a limited number of combinations that will form stable snowflakes/crystals. Since so many of them have fallen, there must be at least have been two snowflakes with the same structure.
Yes a limited number of combinations, but a very very large number. Many times larger than all the atoms in the universe. So all complex snowflakes (ever) can be different. Have a look at the link in the description.
What if we take into account all snowflakes? Even those in outer space? We can compute how many snowflakes have had to have fallen (at least a rough estimation of a lower bound or something).
Oké I checked the links in the description. First of all: AWESOME, second. I think I'll concede. Once I read about the 10^18 I knew I lost my case :-D
theres a new hobby. ima start collecting snowflakes in my freezer.

how about the Qabalah, the I Ching?
fake too?
duh they are ALL theories of everything.
so why not compare them ALL?
these former theories will help confirm NOT deny what science is discovering today.

why don't you ENLIGHTEN folks about how SNOWFLAKES = GRAPHENE?
GRAPHENE
ONE atom thick hexagonal sheets of CARBON that is going to CHANGE the world?
What is the problem of the world in one word?
'GEOMETRY' is a RIGHT BRAIN function unlike algebra and calculus and written text.
Essentially the dumb and numb public school system tends to promote the LEFT BRAIN nonsense over the holistic RIGHT BRAIN.
We need to promote the ARTS more, and math only BS less.

@islandbuoy4 Wikipedia: Lateralization of brain function. The problem with the school system is just a little deeper than that.

I count 24 oxygen and only 30 hydrogen which doesn't make sense unless this is supposed to be a 2-D representation of a 3-D constuct?

FHomeBrew 2 years ago
Nope, there are an unlimited number of designs of a snowflake, and due to that, no two are exactly the same. That's a fact.
redsoxalldaway123 2 years ago
I don't think ther have been. maybe there will be. the amount of combinations possible is huge.
