when I was 16 years old I enjoyed listened to his music and tried to identify with all the glorified trappings of the thug life style he rapped about. After spending years selling crack and watching freinds die and my life get destroyed chasing the hollowed glorifications of a lot of "gangsta rap" videos I now enjoy listening to Pac because of the trappings and the positive messages he rapped about and now I can identify with it.

This man was a great rapper.

i havent listen to the radio since the mid 90's the mc's i came up on talked about the good the bad and the ugly in the hoods true poets who gave meaning to the life around them that all can relate to.but the ones now only talk about money outrageous sex and crap most of us will never see or want.these poets gave words to live by and insight to traps to avoid i feel sorry for the youth today with this watered down shit they think is true music. I think one of the reasons why you dont hear people as good as Pac is because we have the internet now. It def is harder to find good talent because of the constant in your face advertising and information/distractions we see in our everyday lives. There are good people out there not getting the recognition they deserve. Plus everything on the TV or on the radio is gimmicky ass shit
