I agree, $100 says you would find more if you werent chopping weeds down with that machine. The coil should stay level with the ground and no more than an inch or two high. I bet you are missing over half the targets.

I'am surprised that You find anything the way that you swing the thing. You seem to be in a hurry, learn how to over lap and you'll be a hole lot more successfull. Good video anyways.

You should see metal detecting with Joe G. On one video, he finds a farmers belt buckle from the civil war!!!!!!!!!
They had to feed the solders during the war, and so this belt buckle was worn by the ones that got the wheat and food.

I found a brass tube today. I have no idea what it was used for. There is a little bit of etching in it. It looks a little like a small test tube.

Very well made film enjoyed. But being a metal detectorist in the UK for over 35 years I'll give you a simple tip that'll increase your find rate no end. All you have to do is sweep your search head slower from side to side. You do it so fast you'll be missing many smaller or deeper finds. Good luck with the future.
