I miss NFL players (and other athletes) of the Sixties, and before, who had to have day jobs or in the off-season.
Athletes need to stop comparing themselves to warriors. We've lost 6000+ in Irag and Afghanistan in about 10 years. I can think of about 30 athletes that have died in competition.
