  • Nice video architectus777. I am drawing a comic as well, and try to find ways to make this go quicker. Coloring the artwork is eating the most time. I see that u coloring a base by hand..I found a way that i can do this quicker. A combination with recorded actions and 2 tools. I think it will speed up your work with 25%, intrested?

  • @yoRRnl Sure. You should make a video.

  • great! It helped me so much.

I did not use this technique for a comic, I made a painting for a shirt and i wanted to color it, well the first results are awesome! thanks alot!

  • I'm drawing a comic right now, and I've been having trouble with shading techniques. I'm sure gonna give this a try!!! Thanks!

  • Ciao Neil This tutorial is good 9/10 . plz can yu show me how to achieve a good ( fast ) skin coloring plz ?

  • THanks Homie. That helped a lot. I'm going over lots of different tutorial videos to learn how to enhance my art work on the computer. This one was definitely the biggest help.

  • I got your photoshop tutorial video. It was a great help! I was wondering if you could do a short video on how you use layer in your comics. I'm confused by multiply and how to layer the color and lineart. I have a basic idea but would like to know more. Your videos are great! Thank you for taking your time and putting these up for everyone.

  • @notverycreative1 the version of the photoshop doesn't really matter in digital painting, because all you need are brushes and filters, nothing more than that.

  • thank you for this video it helped me save time.

  • Very nice. Im trying to copy your brush layout. It seems effective and works well. I have a few questions... do you play WoW?... and Do you play D&D? And this is really good besides.. that girl in the maroon looks like she has a package in her pants. :3

  • This is how I paint most of my pictures If I bother to, I'm just really lazy plus I can't get the time to paint with any more detail. But practice makes perfect its getting better! Thanks for the vid.

  • this is awesome....great video

  • zjxzx

  • i like your comic.

I love your tutorials and how you present your techniques in a very intelligible way.

  • did he call me a mother color ?? ......awesome work love to watch!

  • @notverycreative1 I haven't even tried CS4.

  • Very nice. I will definitely have to try this out!

So i though about it; here's a few things I wouldn't mind seeing you do tuts for:

    -color theory

(and on the opposite end of the spectrum):

-black and white / gray scale techniques

I say the last one because I'm going to be making illustrations for a book soon :]
