@satjathamma You are right - nobody knows whether it is 95% or 99% or 82% or 74%. My point is, the MAJORITY of forex traders end up losing their pants.

I have been in the forex buisiness for 2 years and I can confirm what you say is true, the majority of brokers are only out to scam you, and it doesnt matter if they are regulated, they still play dirty trix on you, there is a few honest brokers out there but the are very hard to find, many brokers also lie about being ECNs, so you really need to do your homework before depositing any money

and also don't believe what you see in forums on the internet, many posts comes from the brogers them selfs and they have people working for them to lure in new traders, so if you see in every forum that a broker is veru good, they probably are the worst.

Ivr brrn doin it for 2 weeks, and no matter what i bet on, i lost EVERY day.

OBVIOUSLY, thats just bad lucke, so i cARRIED ON (big mistake)

So, in 2 weeks, waiting for my luck to change, ive lost nearly £1000

It is a SIMPLE set up - if you bet UP, it goes down - if you bet down, if goes UP !

It has NO mercy, and wil screw you as fast as it possibly can (whcihi sEVERY time you put money in)

If you put £500 in today, you wil lose £400 by the end of the day

@fatfantastic some of them really are frauds, Im sorry you crossed one of them, there are ways to spot them though, there is also good ones out there and it is possible to make a lot of money, but for that to be possible you just have to find a broker that don't play dirty trix on you. look only for ECN or STP brokers everything else is fraud

All i can speak of is my experience.

I literally tested it, over and over again, and EVERY time i bet one way, it went the other, and i could even stabilise the line, by betting both sides of it !

If i bet gold at 1650 and 1660, the line would "twitch" its way to 1655 and never move out.

If i then bet wildly, some her,e some there, the line would fly up and down, keeping me at a loss.

Thats only on an hourly basis, NOT daily, though. Thay cant start the day wrong, can they ?

What broker did you use? I assume you are outside of the US trading GBP. There are frauds. One thing to check is that te broker hasa regulatory agency (Forex.com and Oanda are regulated by the NFA. Also, if you haven't already, go to babypips.com and take their free school. it explains everything from pips to bollinger bands to finding a broker. if nothing else, know that out of thousands of brokers there maybe 100 good ones
