i trust me i got hella originals, just diggin for samples and came across the original so i wanted to see how fast i could make it, it also gave me the perspective of how another producer puts things together in their mind
Just to let you know bro... He had a keyboardist, bass and guitar player do the filling in but nice job though anyways. He just provided the sample and the beat
You did a good job on the beat, although it would've been special if it wasn't almost just like the slow jamz beat. Try giving it more of your own style... good job though
it might as well be, its basically the same instrumental, but it sounds like its being played out of small speakers, with some bumped up drums. If you are going to do a remake, experiment with the beat more, and actually remake it.
everybody can do this..you are just imitating...to be a great producer you need innovation...you aint got s'#t...with the right equipment everybody can make this beat..try to look for other samples...make something of "three degrees - when will i see you again"..i'll check it out...
ima do thatt, and no doubt, anyone can do this, its more of an encouragement video, ive only been using FL demo and thats it for 3 years, dont even have the full version, but if you dont think i got skills, check again at my soundclick page, im also workin on some exclusive unreleased tracks with some locals for a mixtape, soundclick com/ounces
it has 2do wit time strechn whenever u choose a certain bpm n insert a sound file it recognizes its tempo so when u change bpm it stretches it 2 the original time it was created at so changn pitch isnt good enough when u insert the sample the first thing u should do is in the Channel Settings - Sampler go 2 the SMP tab n under the Time Stretch area right click and reset all knobs than in piano roll insert your sample on whichever key sounds the most accurate and from their adjust the bpm
nah, no strings in sample, just keys and vocals, but i broke the beat down pretty tuff and barely picked out those strings in the original and recreated it
the bass line is from the sample but i emphasized it with a few different basses equalized differently and the congos were from a sound pack, the rythm and patterns of the conga drums was the hardest
haha, yea maybe a lil, nah i got respect for the producers who are in the limelight, they wouldnt have been there if they didnt take some risks, so i gotta just find when its my time to have at it, ya feel me
sounds A Lot like slwo jamz
