Well for starters, you're badly mistaken about Civil Rights. All of the Legends of Civil Rights, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Robert Kennedy, Cesar Chavez were members of the Greatest or Silent Generations, NOT the Booms.

Even the Booms music, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, etc were all members of my parents gen, the Silent Generation, born between like 1929-1946. The booms just take credit for everything.

True, Bill & Steve are exceptions.

No question, Boomers exposed institutions and made heads spin in their young years with protest, pot and rock 'n' roll. This video leads me to question why Boomer managers and coworkers doubt Gen Yers ability to lead the workforce of tomorrow. Surely Boomers, of all generations, can understand why Gen Y demand transparency and enthusiasm from the companies they work for. They have Boomer style education, value of freedom and social concern; the two generations have a lot to share!

I don't think the the stuff about nasa at the end is fair. BABY BOOMERS DID NOT PUT MEN ON THE MOON!!!!! The fist man on the moon was born in 1930. The people who built rockets and went to space were all born in the 30s and BEFORE! They were the overlooked generation of heros who faught in WW2. Most boomers were not even out of high school when Apollo 11 landed. Boomers have taken credit for more than they are worth. Progress in space STOPED when boomers took over.

Most baby boomers led decent lives and paid a MASSIVE amount of tax and pension contributions. It is not the fault of this generation that evil banksters and politicians have destroyed the country. When hyperinflation comes, baby boomers will have the small amount of income they have destroyed. There is an argument for saying that people in their mid thirties to late forties racked up all the debt. Baby boomers were taught to fear debt.

In all fairness to the boomers, the only thing they have going for them is their great music: The Stones, Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, WHO, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, David Bowie,even the Bee Gees! I could go on and on about all the great bands of the 60s & 70s.

When I was a little kid in the 70s' my first "grown-up" music was the boomers' music.

So while these douche-jerks fucked up the world for the rest of us, at least they had great musical taste. I'll give them that.

I'd like to personally thank the boomers for letting Nixon remove the gold standard, leading to runaway inflation, and vicariously making savings lose value, so we could build an economy on debt and being spoiled.

The irony is that half of them don't even realize we don't have a gold standard anymore.

Gen X, Millennials; we take the shit while boomers whine at the mess they let happened. I'm glad my great grandparents aren't around to see the mess you let happen.
