Kidney stones are the most excruciatingly painful things ever! I got them during exam week at college and the stupid doctors couldn't figure out it was kidney stones. I was puking non-stop everyday, and going to a&e at like 3am every morning. Missed my exams because of it. Eventually they figured it out and got rid of them.

@LeadChipette That's what I thought. But the little pipes they come through, the Ureters, are the size of pencil leads. so they've got something at least twice their width moving through them, and it hurts like hell.

@perther3 I hate to burst your bubble, friend, but that's a bit of an exaggeration. In fact, I was looking up this video for comic relief to deal with my own kidney stone from the comfort of a hospital bed. I was admitted yesterday evening and have the staff here have helped me manage my pain and nausea quite well. And before you go off making assumptions, I am not rich by any means and the stone was only 5 mm. We Americans complain way too much.

I drove myself to to a medical clinic, almost didn' make it. They injected me w/ morphine. That did little to help.

They called an ambulance to take me to ER. I was suffering like you can't even imagine. I had to see a Urologist.

The next moring I was in the surgery. They go in through the penis to take it out. I now drink a ton of water everyday to help prevent another one.

Lookin' good now. Thanks for asking. It burns when you pee for a few days and you pee some blood after surgery. Everything works fine now. I am drinking a lot of water to prevent any more stones.

After passing two of them myself (one in each kidney), that skit is actually not that far from reality. They're painful beyond belief, and can make you do some of the silliest things imaginable because you can no longer think straight.

@TheCanadianPublic you aint kidding, its the most horrifically painfull thing imaginable. mine was too big to pass(at 9mm) so it was trapped in the urethra. sometimes i could pee and sometimes not according to if it would shift. i but i looked funny, a 200lb guy balled up in the floor in a fetle position and throwing up but it sure wasnt funny at the time lol

Kidney stones are the worst. You can either have no pain at all or they can be even more painful than childbirth. It is amazing how such a small thing can hurt so much. Actually, passing it through the penis is not the most painful part at all. When it passing through the Ureter, there is immense pain in the back, like getting hit with a bat over and over again, nonstop

I had the same pain in my testical it felt like someone had hold of my testical in a set of grips and was pulling as hard as they could. At the same time I had a kidney stone lodged in the Ureter causing the kidney to back up with urine. unimaginable pain of the highest order! Now i've got a stent in and piss blood every 15 minutes. Yep, life sucks.
